A week later

"Justin I miss you." I pout looking at him through the screen and he laughs. "I miss you too, just one more week like this." He smiles and I roll my eyes. "That's too long! Plus I'm horny." I growl and he widens his eyes followed by a laugh. "Well I'll be sure to take care of that when I get back." He winks and I smile. I missed him like crazy and was awaiting the day he came back.

Justin had been gone for two week but it was so boring. I didn't have anyone to annoy me in class or to talk to or to laugh with. I hated it. This back and forth texting and iChatting wasn't working for me. I needed to see him, I was going crazy without him.

"How everything in Calfornia?" I ask taking a sip of my Arizona. "LA is beautiful, but I haven't really gotten down to the business, just going around LA, it's fun and boring, it would have be better if I could have brought you.." He shrugs and I smile. "How's everything going over there?" I sigh, I didn't want to look like a crazy girlfriend who was obsessed with her boyfriend, but I actually was. "all my classes are boring, especially without you, Isabella and Ryan aren't helping, neither is Jaxon and Bridget, and Jazzy well she's like my only friend." I dramatically sigh and he just laughs at me.

"Poor baby, how will she live!" He gasp making me laugh. "There's the smile That I love!" He says making a face, once again making me laugh. "Justin, what are you doing?" I smile at my boyfriend who was being insanely cute right now. "I'm trying to get you to laugh, isn't it obvious." He says making one of his stupid faces again. "Well you've succeeded babe." I wink at him and he smiles. "That's all I wanted, I live for you smile." I cover myself trying to hide the fact that I was blushing. "Aw you're so cute when you blush." He mocks and I roll my eyes.

"Are you on iChat with Justin again?" Bridget comes in and plops on my bed. "Well hello to you to Bridget." Justin chuckles and she waves. "I seriously need you to hurry up and come home, she's driving me insane!" Bridget exclaims making Justin laugh again. "I'm doing my best, I'll be back before you know it. But I'm pretty sure You miss me too." He teases and she scoffs. "It's actually a blessing to get a break from you," she teases back making both Justin and I laugh, Bridget exits the room shortly after.

"Oh my god, prom is in a week! And then graduation, everything's going by so fast, I haven't even found a prom dress or graduation dress a-" I was cut off by Justin. "Breathe Brooke, you'll find something and you'll look absolutely gorgeous." He smiles, making me blush. "Justin!" I herd his uncle calls. "Sorry babe, I'll text you later, work calls." He blows a kiss before closing the iChat. "Goodbye to you too." I sigh before closing my laptop and placing it on my desktop.

"What to do now?" I hum as I walk downstairs to meet my mother and my aunt. "we'll look who has come out of her cave." My aunt teases and I just stick my tongue out. "I think it's cute, I remember when I used to be in love like that, I'm just glad my girl has found happiness." My mom says walking over to me and kisses my forehead. "So how's Justin doing in California?" My aunt asks and I shrug. "He says he likes it, and it's nice over there but he misses home and everyone." I say and my aunt nods

"I still think you should have went out there with him." My mom mumbles and I roll my eyes, every time we bring up Justin, she thinks we would have been better together, but I didn't want to steal his attention, he deserved it more than anyone, I'd get my chance, but now wasn't my time. "Mom, I told you, I want to give him his chance and let the spotlight be on him for once. He deserves this with everything that's been going on." I sigh and she nods. "Ann, we raised such a humble and sweet girl." She smiles down at me. "But it wouldn't hurt to but yourself first sometimes." I nod my head.

"Brooke!" Bridget runs down the staircase and I turn my head. "Isabella wants to know if we can go dress shopping tomorrow." She says holding my phone in her hand. "We?" I raise an eyebrow and she pouts and I sigh. "Yes, that's fine, I don't have anything else to do." I tell her and she reports back. "Alright bye Bella! See you tomorrow!" She says and hangs up the phone.

"Can jazzy come too." Bridget makes another pout face and I growl. "Fine, but you two can't harass me." I scold them and she smirks and nods before disappearing into her room. "Teenagers." I mumble before turning back to my mother and my aunt who were just laughing at me.

Boy I couldn't wait until Justin got home.

After School Friday

"Come on Brooke, time to find the perfect dresses." Isabella smiles and I groan. "I want to go home, it's almost time to iChat Justin." Isabella waves me off as if I didn't even say anything. "Brooke, I'm sure Justin will understand that you're out with your friends, he won't mind, besides he's in California for gods sake! He'll fine something else until you're available." I knew she was right, but just the satisfaction of seeing his face is kind of what I needed right now. "Yeah, Brooke, he'll probably call you, he'll understand, I mean this is an emergency prom is six days! You have to get your dress now!" Jazzy says as she gets out the car.

"Ok, Ok, let's go find our prom dresses." I say making Isabella squeal as we step into the dress shop. "This is gonna be so fun." Bridget smirks and I roll my eyes, preparing to be poked and pinned and try on a million dresses, this was gonna be a great afternoon

"I'm not feeling this one." Jazzy says pointing to the red dress that was on my body, I groan I actually liked this dress, and jazzy and Bridget had said no just about every dressed I tried on. "You two don't like anything." I roll my eyes and they shrug. "I'm gonna go pick out a perfect dress for you , I'll be right back" Bridget storms off leaving Jazzy and I alone.

"Back!" Bridget says making me jump. "that was um... Fast?" I say and she shrugs. "I saw it the moment we walked in and I wanted you to pick it but you didn't so I waited and here go try it on." She basically shoved me into the dressing room. Taking a moment to actually look at the dress, I realized she was right, it was absolutely gorgeous.

It was a purple dress that had a sweet heart lining and it wasn't too long not too short, it wasn't too fitted or too poofy it was just right.

I think I've found my dress.

This chapter was just a filter and I know it sucked but it'll be better the next time!

Anyways Broken is almost over 😭 Don't worry I'm working on the sequel right now! Lol
