Chapter Fourteen

*Warning gore*

Roman's Point of view

"What do you mean there's a problem!" I yell angrily through the phone.

"What I mean sir is that Knox has somehow raided one of our warehouses." The man stated nervously.

I couldn't even believe this!

Somehow Knox raided one of my warehouses and left my men injured or killed. I'm fucking livid!

"How the fuck did this happen?" I really needed to calm down before I killed him.

"I-I... We don't know sir." He pathetically explained quietly.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "You don't know." I repeated, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Yes..." He stretched out, I could hear him gulping nervously once he said that.

"You don't know..." I trailed off before laughing hysterically.
"You don't know. Well that's fucking terrific isnt it because that means Knox can raid and even overthrow my whole 'Kingdom', isnt that what you're telling me! You're also telling me that my gang members are incompitent to even prevent a raid! So what the hell am I even paying you for? Yall cant even do your jobs right, how pathetic!" I spat, my voice and tone gradually got angrier and louder toward the end.

Knox has successfully stayed one step ahead of us with every move we make!

The man kept apologizing profoundly over and over again over the phone. "Quit with the apologies. If you want to make it up go find information on Knox!" With that I hung up on him, deeply sighing as my hand rakes through my hair.

Today Kennedy is supposed to come over and meet my parents, which he is excited for. The call about Knox's intrusion on my base.

Knox always somehow knew what we were planning before it even happens, this isn't the first time he's done something like this. It just makes me livid that we haven't had the chance to put an end to this and stop him for good.

He's already harmed and killed many of our allied gangs, despite us helping our allies when they needed it, they still defeated us. It's quite infuriating. "I need to calm down before I have to pick up Kennedy for dinner..." I mutter to myself. With that as my goal, I called my father.

"Hello son, is something wrong?" I sigh before answering sarcastically. "Not unless you talk to one of our members calling because Knox raided one of our warehouses again and when I asked how, his response was 'I don't know'!" I inhaled deeply trying to calm down.
The line was silent for a while until I could hear my father's aggravated voice "We really need to up all our defences and we are going to need to retrain our members so they- we are prepared for this if it happens again."

That's why I admire my father so much, he has more patience than I ever could.
"Is there someone that needs to be interrogated?" I really hope he does because my body is craving and just itching to give someone a beating to release all my vexation onto, in time before dinner starts.
"Yes, we still have a mole that we found a few weeks ago that still refuses to talk."
"Perfect, I'll be there in ten minutes." I declare, leaving no room for objection
"I want things to go smoothly for dinner tonight and this whole Knox situation is going to ruin it." I explain more calmly.
"Alright son, I'll see you later tonight, your mother's cooking tonight. She was practically jumping with joy when I told her the news." He chuckled lightly through the phone. After we bid our goodbyes, I headed out to our main building.

Another pain filled grunt escapes past the man's mouth as I strike another kick to his abdomen causing him to double over in pain out of the chair he was in moments ago.
