Chapter Eight
"Heartbroken mirrors reflect ones heart..."
-meKENNEDY'S Point of view
"You know what I'm just not going to go." I declare laying on top of my bed which was piled with many potential outfits.
"You're going Kennedy, you'll look great in whatever you choose." Raelynn states as she bends over to pick up my clothes from the floor.
" Nope not going, you can't make me." I refused, shaking my head childishly.
This party is going to be the death of me.
I have no idea what to wear, not to mention I've never been to an actual party before. I don't know what to expect.
"Then imma just gonna have Roman come and drag your ass." Raelynn said with a small smirk on her face. Groaning, Lifting myself off the bed before picking an outfit I bought a few days ago. I went to the bathroom to change into some jean shorts that are way too short for comfort, a mesh cropped top, high-waisted fishnets and black Doc Martens.
I stared at myself through the mirror analyzing what I was wearing. The outfit was nothing like I usually wear, bright and pastel colors are what I know but this is different. Not a bad different though. Stepping out of the bathroom, I see Raelynn in a short two-piece fitted red skirt and a laced corset top and black heels.
"You look stunning Raelynn!" My jaw dropped while she blushed "Don't say embarrassing stuff like that Kennedy but look at you, you look amazing."

I exited Raelynn's Audi R8 taking a look at Roman's house which is filled with people everywhere. Let me tell you, his house is literally a mansion.
My mouth dropped in awe as I looked up at the beautiful house. My trance was soon broken when Raelynn elbowed me "Close your mouth or you'll catch flies." She teased, I rolled my eyes playfully. "Come on." She grabbed my arm pulling me inside the gorgeous house. Raelynn led me through a swarm of people drinking, dancing and grinding all up on each other.
My face cringed in disgust at the smell of sweat and booze, the music was blasting making it difficult to hear anything.
We soon met up with James and Roman near the kitchen. "Hey guys!" I say cheerfully, smiling only for it to falter as they look at me with shock written on their faces with their mouths gaping open.
"What?" My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. James was the first to speak "Dang Kennedy, you look..Uh different?" I looked down at my outfit contemplating it, feeling self-conscious. I know it's different from what I'm used to wearing but Raelynn liked it and I wanted to impress Roman. "I thought it looked good..." I said softly, my voice almost a whisper.
His face immediately looked panicked after Raelynn hit his head "Oh god, I didn't mean it like that! You look great- Uh better than great. Fuck-!" He fumbled trying to fix the misunderstanding. I smiled.
"It's alright Jamie, thanks." My gaze shifted to Roman as he cleared his throat after I caught him staring at me. "You look breath-taking bunny, damn." I blush before saying shyly "Thank you Roman."
Later on throughout the night Raelynn and James disappeared off doing god knows what, leaving Roman and I alone to talk and dance.
My hips swayed against Roman's front while he held my hips to a random upbeat song I never heard before.
I've never been one to dance really, especially like this, but for some reason here I was dancing so provocatively.
A thin layer of sweat caskated over me like a thin sheet over my body while Roman lowered his head to my neck, nipping it softly.
