Analie's POV:

" Are you sure you want to eat in the cafeteria today?"

"Yes I'm sure I want to eat there Amanda," I say pointedly at her.
Amanda is currently questioning my decision of whether or not to go eat at the cafeteria.  I know she doesn't want me to see Ayden because we need some time apart.  But right now I really need to have a serious conversation with him.

" Are you absolutely sure? Because you know, Ayden's going to be there?"

"Amanda", I say stopping in the middle of the hallway.  She stops and looks at me curiously.  I turn and put my hands on her shoulders, making it seem like I'm about to tell her something very serious. " I. Am. Absolutely. Serious.  I want to eat in the cafeteria.  Don't think I don't know that you're only asking because Ayden and I need time apart.  I will be fine.  I can be completely civil.  So don't worry"
I turn around and continue walking in the direction of the cafeteria.  I look back to see Amanda in the same spot I left her.  She looks like she's lost in thought.
She's probably overthinking the fact that Ayden and I will be in the same room, even after everything that happened this morning.
After all, that's happened with Ayden I would be worried about our next encounter too, but I'm trying to be a nice person here and give him a chance.  Despite our differences.

"Amanda!" I yell at her.  She looks up at me confused.  She's still in the same spot I left her. " Are you coming to lunch? Or are you just going to stand there all day?"

" Oh, right I'm coming!", she says.  She doesn't move as quickly though, and I can tell she's still thinking about Ayden and me.

" Amanda! I know you're still standing there thinking about the whole situation! Stop overthinking this, I will be fine!"
I yell as I walk away from her and near the cafeteria.
I walk into the cafeteria and stop in my tracks as soon as I enter.
I see Cameron, Sean, and Grayson sitting at our usual table.  I scan the room quickly, looking for Ayden.
I don't see him.
Damn, there goes my plan to talk to him.

" You know the entrance to the cafeteria is there for you to enter not stand in the middle and block everyone's path"

I whip my head around at the sound of this strangers voice that sounds familiar.
I see Ayden standing there, with an unreadable expression.  I stare at him for a few seconds, not knowing what to say.  I know I was adamant about talking to him, but now I have no idea what the hell I'm going to say.
Ughh.  Him standing there like that is just making me nervous.

" Oh sorry," I say stepping off to the side, so I'm no longer blocking the entrance.

" I didn't think you were going to be here?" He says sheepishly.
I just know he's acting weird because of this morning, I have to ease the tension somehow.
