The Falling Star

Since the second world war, United Nations' peacekeepers have been dispatched to several conflicts like civil wars,border complicated areas and failed states. Chanyeol is now part of these UN peacekeepers. He is staying in one of the dangerous checkpoints area of world now. Especially in these missions,every area is almost dangerous and world's crisis maker checkpoints areas.

Chanyeol checks the radar over the military camp area just before his shift ends. Two months of his mission life has passes so swiftly,safe and soundly. But recently this area is becoming more dangerous than before. There's has been a rumour of arise of another new strong terrorism activities for about a years. This is an important checkpoint which is inside a forest and an important controller point without any border between two countries.

The another secret reason of appointing United Nations' military in this area is recently it has been proved that the unknown terrorist are trying to create a new nuclear weapon . Who is providing the technology and who is the mastermind of this project is still unknown. It's turning into a crisis for human, because recently the scientist team has got trace that the terrorists are using the nuclear weapons to test on several tribal peoples who are always neglected because of their fewer portion in neighbouring and corresponding countries.

Chanyeol sighs in tiredness as he sits in an open field of military camp area. In these last two months only hopeful news for him are Baekhyun and their baby are safe until now and doctor is hoping that this pregnancy can be continued. Baekhyun hasn't still returned to Park mansion,but Chanyeol just hopes both Baekhyun and his baby to remain safe until he returns.

Chanyeol checks the gallery of his phone. It's totally an remote area which is disconnected from city life. Soldiers staying in this area stays almost outside the network of world. Getting network to send text or phone family is quite troublesome from here.

What Chanyeol does is always sending texts to Baekhyun. He never stops texting Baekhyun,when he gets time. He has a lot of things to say Baekhyun. These are just a few portions of what he wants to say Baekhyun. But what's depress him is none of his texts are seen by Baekhyun.........

Chanyeol suddenly lays down on the ground. He can not now see the dark sky of night with full of star.

"Is it the same sky that you see everyday, Baek?" Chanyeol mumbles to himself. As Chanyeol keeps staring, suddenly a star starts to fall down.

Chanyeol can remember now Baekhyun's wish in their honeymoon days in Bali of Indonesia. Baekhyun wished for Chanyeol to be safe always. And Chanyeol wished to have a sound life with Baekhyun. May be none of these wishes would ever be true. Now if Baekhyun were here,he wouldn't wish anything for Chanyeol may be.

"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard?" Chanyeol says staring at the falling star.

A soldier doesn't fight because he hates what's infront him,he fights because of what he has left behind..........

Baekhyun's sleep suddenly gets broken at the end of the night. He tries to sleep more,but somehow he feels bit uncomfortable. May be his sleep has broken because of the baby's moving inside his tummy. Baekhyun caresses his tummy softly while getting down from the bed. He is now on fifth months of pregnancy.

Time is passing really so swiftly. After finding out this pregnancy at its second month,a lot of things has happened. He and Chanyeol got separated shortly after that. May be everything has a good side, when Chanyeol left south Korea, Baekhyun was on third month of his pregnancy.

He steps towards the window and removes a portion of curtain from window. It's still dark outside and the sky is full of stars.

Suddenly a star's falling reminds him memory of an unexpected person of his life. Baekhyun can't help covers the curtain hastily. But only for seconds. He removes the curtain again and throws a question towards the falling star,

"Can I take back every wishes that I did for him?"
