Reactionary confusion

10 days later...

"Chanyeol,you know why I am returning, right?" Baekhyun holds Chanyeol's hand before he starts the car to take Baekhyun back to Park Mansion. At last both of them has reached to a decision to try once more depending on mutual understanding.

"Trust me, Baekhyun. I won't lie to you again and I just want to leave all my past behind only to be with you. You are my only present and only future," Chanyeol was about to kiss Baekhyun ,but the puppy sitting on Baekhyun's lap hits Chanyeol with his paw and barks towards him.

Yes, Mongryong is also going with Baekhyun to live with Park family from now.

"Yah! Why you are always jealous to me?" Chanyeol yells softly to Mongryong who can't still understand why Baekhyun is letting this big ear Yoda to be close with him and flirt with him. He is always so much desperate to touch Baekhyun and this is what Mongryong doesn't like about Chanyeol.

As Chanyeol get out from washroom after taking a shower,he finds out Mongryong is laying on Baekhyun's swollen tummy peacefully,while Baekhyun is sleeping on bed.

"Hey, hey......Mongryongie, That's not pillow," Chanyeol tickles on Mongryong's head and tries to distract the puppy while taking him away from Baekhyun. But Mongryong whimpers while his paw is stretching Baekhyun's T-Shirt over tummy.

"Oh my god!" Chanyeol gasps in fear.

"Chanyeol, it's okay. Mongryong likes to lay over me. He knows that something is changed with me and I am careful to my tummy. That's why he is just protective to me," Baekhyun smiles towards Chanyeol opening his sleepy eyes .

"He is way too possessive to you," Chanyeol sighs as let Mongryong to sniff Baekhyun's hair.

"Are you jealous?"

"No... Why I would be?" Chanyeol yells in embarrassment.

" Mongryongie,be a good boy to daddy,okay? He loves me,he won't harm me," Baekhyun pets Mongryong.

"Your tummy has grown. It's cute. Our baby is getting well nourished. When is your next check-up appointment?" Chanyeol caresses Baekhyun's tummy.

"Hmm..... it's in next week."

"I will go with you," Chanyeol lays down beside Baekhyun.

"Dad was saying you will join office in this week," Baekhyun says in low voice.

"I will manage. Everything of myself is for you two. I already have missed a lot important moments of bonding with our fetus. I won't escape any duty again," Chanyeol pulls Baekhyun towards him softly at which Mongryong becomes annoyed and whoops being impatient.

"Hey not any intimacy infront Mongryongie," Baekhyun laughs as he maintains distance with Chanyeol.

" He should know what's our relationship, Baekhyun," Chanyeol kisses on Baekhyun's cheek.

"Aish! I think I have forgotten a bit already. You are gonna be late," Baekhyun says while fixing Chanyeol's badges on his blazer. Chanyeol is now kneeling infront Baekhyun.

"You know what new badges are gonna add in my uniform. I am hearing that I will get an award or promotion for my role in mission. But I think promotion would be better than award. What do you think?"

"I think award is better. You will get promoted one day no matter what, right?" Baekhyun smiles as Chanyeol helps him to wear socks in his legs.

"It's okay even if nothing happens, I just want to start my morning with you everyday," Chanyeol pecks on Baekhyun's tummy and lips.

"Welcome back, lieutenant Park," squadron leader Lee greets Chanyeol at his return to air force base office.

"Sir!" Chanyeol salutes him with respect.

"You have returned after a long mission. We are proud of you. May I know you that you can join our unit anytime after getting promoted. Under squadron leader Kim I don't think you will get enough freedom to work freely. Hoping you will like to join us."

Chanyeol feels bit awkward in squadron leader Lee's proposal. But obviously he won't join in that unit because there's Kyungsoo obviously.

"What! Are you not happy that I have returned?" Chanyeol says to Kyungsoo.

"Why I won't be? Or will be?" Kyungsoo says in annoyed voice. Both of them are now meeting in the open premise of Gimpo airfield.

"If I couldn't return,you will be the highest benefited obviously. Kyungsoo ,I am just giving you reminder that never think of taking any foolish step again."

"Haha.... It's really funny. May I let you know the one who has become loser is your spouse. When you're not here , officer Wu took care of him. None would be surprised if anyone says the father of the baby is officer Wu. Doctor said that yours baby wouldn't survive , right?" Kyungsoo says in cold relaxed voice.

"Shut up, Kyungsoo! I didn't ask about your opinion," Chanyeol controls himself by holding his fist.

" I heard someone to say. And it really doesn't matter to me," Kyungsoo leaves as he is not interested to hear threats from Chanyeol anymore. But he has already insert a confusion inside Chanyeol.

What does it mean by officer Wu took care of Baekhyun in his absence? And obviously there's no confusion about Baekhyun's fifth months of pregnancy. But what if there is?
