Chapter 2 (Meeting Kelly)

Walking into the store, Aria was amazed with it's size. From the outside the store looks small and cramped. However inside everything is spread out based on the activity. There was a skateboard section, a surfing section, motocross section, wakeboard section, and so many more. Surfboards leaned up against the window, and a young red head was behind the counter at the back wall.

"This place is amazing." Aria breathed out, as she left her brother's side to look around. She wondered around the aisles, looking at all the merchandise.  Her brother followed behind her with a chuckle.

"Think you could get used to this?" He asked as he took a peek at his sister's amazed face.

"Definitely. Now hopefully I can find the pair of gloves I am looking for."

Once she had found the pair of gloves she was looking for she wondered up to the counter, drawing the attention of the redhead.

"Hi, did you find what you were looking for?" The women asked with a smile.

"I would be surprised if I didn't this place has everything." Aria said with a small laugh, as she placed the gloves on the counter.

"Well I'm glad you like my store. Hi, I'm Kelly." The redhead said as she held out a hand for the younger girl to shake.

"Aria North. It's nice to meet you Kelly." Said Aria as she shook Kelly's hand with a smile.

"So I haven't seen you here before. Are you new?" Kelly asked unable to contain her curiosity.

"Yup, I just moved here from Turtle Cove." Aria replied as she pushed the bad memories away."

Kelly could tell the girl was uncomfortable with the subject, so she decided to change the conversation. Looking down at the gloves in her hand, she couldn't hide her surprise. Motocross gloves? Seeing the look of surprise spread across Kelly's face, Aria decided to answer the question before it was asked.

"Before you ask, yes I do Motocross, and a few other activities."

Kelly looked up from the gloves and a small blush spread across her face. Great job at making a first impression Kelly. Now she probably thinks you doubt her riding skills.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be offensive. I was just surprised. You don't look like the type of girl to do Motocross." Kelly says as she scans the gloves, and places them into a bag.

"No problem, I get it all the time. " Aria says with a wave of her hand, and a smile on her face. Reassuring Kelly that she hadn't hurt Aria's feelings.

"Well if you like motocross I know someone you might like to meet." Kelly said with a smile as she thought of her group of friends, that come in all the time.

"Really?" Aria says with curiosity, and a little doubt.

"Yeah, his name's Dustin, and he rides 125s. He always shows up here with his two friends, Shane and Tori."

"Cool, so do Tori and Shane ride moto too?"

"No. Tori is a surfer, and Shane is a skateboarder." Kelly answered after she controlled her laughter. The thought of Shane on a motorbike was hilarious. It would tip over before he could start it.

"Sweet, maybe I could meet them sometime." She responds with a smile. Maybe making friends won't be so hard.

"Sure come back here tomorrow, and you guys could meet."

"How do you know they will be here?" Aria asks curiously.

"They are always here. I have to shove them out the door." Kelly says as she hands Aria her bag.

"Aria time to go." Called Alec from the doors.

"Un minuto fratello." Aria calls back to him. Kelly's eyebrow raises with curiosity. Did Aria just speak in Italian?

"Sorry Kelly, I have to go, but I will be here tomorrow." Aria tells her new friend with a smile.

"Sure, come anytime." Kelly replies as she hands Aria her bag.

"Nice to meet you Kelly, bye Kelly!" Aria yells as she runs out the doors, trying to catch up to her brother that had already walked away.

Kelly let out a laugh at the young girls energy, before thinking. Who was that man she was with? Oh well I can always ask her tomorrow.
