Chapter 8 (Duty Calls)

Shane, Tori, and Dustin walk through the waterfall portal, to be hit with squall of wind, leaves, and dirt.  Walking forward, Shane, Tori, and Dustin, were met by the ruins of their school. "It's gone." Said Shane in disbelief. "K, I'm thinking earthquake." Said Dustin. "When was the last time you heard an earthquake sucking buildings and people into the sky?" Shane asked, not at all surprised at Dustin's guess. After knowing Dustin for years, Shane had gotten used to it.

(Next Scene)

At Lothor's ship, Kapri and Marah were arguing. "Kapri, you said once uncle captured all the ninja schools, we'd divide earth down the middle. "No, what I said was, once earth's under our uncle's control you'd get the arctic circle and i'd get California." "Kapri! Marah! Quiet!" Yelled Lothor, annoyed by his niece's squabbling. "Or I'll banish you back to your parents." Lothor threatened. Knowing their uncle didn't make empty threats, both girls looked down, before apologizing. "This is why, you never work with family." Said Lothor to Zurgane. "Now where was I?" Lothor asked Zurgane, as he walked towards his throne. "The final phase of your plan to capture earth sir." Said Zurane as he followed his master. "Of course." Lothor said with a smile, as he sat on his throne. "Now that the last of the mighty ninja academy has been silenced, the planet is ours." However Choobo came running in and began whispering to Zurgane. 

Once Choobo had said all that needed to be, Zurgane walked towards his master and bowed, not wanting to be punished for showing disrespect. "Sir, it seems there are three students from the wind ninja academy still unaccounted for." Rolling his eyes, Lothor began his rant. "Why would I think anything could be done right the first time?" "General Zurgane!" Lothor called as he arose from his throne. "Ye sir?" Zurgane asked. "I want you to make certain that the zone is clear. I want nothing left standing. Nothing!"

(Next Scene)

Tori, Dustin, and Shane were walking around the school's wreckage. "Who would do something like this?" Asked Tori. "Are we the only students left?" Asked Dustin, as he kicked a rock, and watched as it rolled away. Suddenly there was a rumbling noise and rocks starting moving. "Who's that?" Asked Shane as he saw a hand appear from under the rocks. "It's Cam! Help me get him out!" Called Shane as he ran towards their fallen comrade. Tori, Dustin, and Shane grabbed Cam's arm, and pulled him out of the rubble. 

The boy was covered in soot, and his clothing was dirty. Once the boy was situated on a large boulder, Shane asked. ""Are you okay, Cam?" "Yeah, I'm fine." Said Cam as he used Shane as a crutch. However Cam wasn't standing long, before a red energy beam was shot at the four teens, sending them all to the ground. Once everyone was up, Cam took off running and the others followed, as more and more shots were fired at  them. Cam stopped when he reached a hatch door on the ground. Grabbing the chain, Cam pulled it open, revealing steps going down. "Come on guys this way." Cam said. Once they were all inside, Tori shut the hatch and followed Dustin and Shane down the stairs. "Cam, what is this place?" Shane asked. "Just follow me." Replied Cam. Walking down into  a cave, Cam pressed his hand onto a part of the wall. The part glowed, as it scanned Cam's hand, and opened the entrance to a new room. "Now way." Sighed Shane. "It's amazing!" Said Tori, her voice filled with awe. "Dude' Said Dustin as they explored the room. 

"Don't ask any questions, because I can't answer them." Said Cam, as he followed the three into the room. "What this is like some big secret?" Asked Shane. "Yes Shane it's like some big secret." Said Cam, annoyed at the red clad teen. "And there are time's when secrets must be revealed, Cam." Said Sensei's voice, as a small dojo on wheels came towards them. "Wohh." Said Dustin when he saw where the voice was coming from. A guinea pig in Sensei's outfit. "Hey, uh, that big rat sounds just like Sensei." Said Shane as he gestured to the guinea pig. "It doesn't really look like him though. Huh?" Asked Dustin as he walked towards the mini dojo, to get a closer look. "I mean except for the clothes." He said as he looked up at Cam.

"My father is not a rat. He's a guinea pig." Cam said as he rolled his eyes, at Shane and Dustin. "Dude, did he just explain why and I completely missed it?" Dustin asked as he turned towards Shane and Tori. "He's stuck." Said Cam, like it was the most obvious thing. "Stuck?" Said Shane as he leaned forward, wondering if he was hearing things. "Yes Shane, stuck." Said Sensei, capturing Dustin's attention once again. "Observe." Said Sensei as he flipped towards the computer consul. "This is Lothor." Said Sensei as Lothor appeared on the screen. "Once a great ninja, he was banished from the earth when his hunger for power turned him to the dark side." Explained Sensei, as Tori, Shane and Dustin watched Sensei and Lothor's battle on the screen. "When our energy field's collided I was transformed into what you see before you." Sensei said, as Tori, Shane, and Dustin watched Sensei get hit by Lothor's energy beam. "Now he has returned and brought an army that will do anything and everything to take our planet for their own. Unless they are stopped."

"Who's going to be dumb enough to try and stop them." Asked Dustin as he gestured towards the computer screen, where Lothor's minions were attacking the ninjas. "An excellent question Dustin. The morphers Cam." Said Sensei as he turned towards his son. "Father your not serious?" Cam said, doubting his father's health. "We have no choice." Said Sensei as he looked towards the ground. "But these guys, I mean, them. There, well there, there." Cam stuttered, trying to think of the right word.  "We're what?" Asked Tori, with an eyebrow raised, as she stared down Cam. "Yeah, I don't like the way that sounded." Said Shane as he looked towards Tori, before turning towards Dustin. "Do you?" He ashed. "Actually, dude I'm kinda lost here." Said Dustin as he scratched his head. "Now Cam." Said Sensei. Shaking his head Cam  walked over towards the wall, before opening a hatch, and pulling out an octagon shaped box, with a dragon on the top. "These are your power ranger wind morphers." Said Cam as he opened the box to reveal three morphers. One with a blue coin, one with a yellow coin, and another with a red coin.

I hoped you guys like this update there should be another one tomorrow hopefully, and you will finally see the rangers in action. I also have to add some more of what Aria is doing, because none of you know. And I can guarantee, you wont be able to guess it. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed! PEACE!!!
