A New Ranger

Chapter 10 (Lost Academy)

The necklace her coin turned into is the picture on the side.

 ( Lost Shadow Academy) 

   Two people are sparing in the field in front of the dojo, high in the mountains. Snow caped peaks touch the sky, and white clouds extend as far as the eye can see. The field is a bright green, flowers blooming, and trees surrounding the valley. One master, and one ninja are fighting, punches being thrown and blocked, kicks being flung, and stopped, the fight lasts for hours. By the time they are done, the sun is rising and both are panting, air rushing into their lungs. The master lays on the floor, defeated, as the student kneels over him. The ninja, stands up, and pulls down her mask, revealing her face. Brunette hair falls to her shoulders, and dark brown eyes, sparkle with glee. The student reaches a hand out to her master, quickly pulling him up. The master and student step apart, and bow to each other. The master rises first and looks down at his student with pride in his eyes. She was finally ready, to accept her destiny. 

        Putting his hand on his students shoulder, a signal for her to rise, he says, "Follow me." With a nod from the student, they walk off towards the dojo, and into the main room. "What are we doing in here?" The young girl asks. "I have something to give you." The sensei says, as he walks towards a black wooden box on his desk. "Really?" The girl asks as she watches her sensei grab the box and stop for a second. Don't begin to doubt her now, she can do this. He tells himself, as he turns to look at the girl that has become like a daughter to him. "Sit." He tells her. Slowly she does, and is joined by her sensei. He hands the box over to her and watches as she caresses its lid. "Open it." He tells her softly. Looking up at her sensei she stares deep into his eyes, hoping to gain the courage to open the box. Finding exactly what she hoped for, she returns her gaze to the box. Taking a deep breath she slowly opens the box, and gasped. Sitting in the box surrounded by velvet, is a morpher.

        There is a black coin with a ninja star laid beside the morpher. "But I thought..." She said in shock. 'I know you have done this before, however you are being called again, my child. You are strong and courageous just like the wolf. You will protect your team, until the end and your loyalty will never be swayed. You have a deep connection to nature, and all that surrounds you. You travel in the shadows and are only seen when you want to be. This is your path, and your journey has already begun. Protect them, and help when they are in need." Sensei Wren says to Aria. A tear runs down Aria's cheek as she tackles her sensei in a hug. Slowly she pulls away and clasps the morpher around her wrist. Picking up the coin, it glows for a second, and transforms into a beautiful necklace. "To morph all you do is touch the necklace, raise your hand to the sky and say Shadow Storm, Ranger Form."

Hey guys I know this is very short, but it is just a filler chapter, because I haven't updated in forever, and I am really sorry about that, but life sucks. Anyway, there will be more chapters very soon, and I hope you guys are enjoying my story. Again I am really sorry for not updating. Anyway got to go, study Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Argh.....
