A blonde seventeen year-old girl, came rushing out of the water. Her surfboard was held in one arm, and her attention was focused on her watch. 8:30 her watch said. I'm right on time, now as long as Dustin and Shane aren't late, then we have no problem.
Quickly grabbing her beach bag, she ran towards her blue van. Climbing in, she dried her hair as much as possible before starting her car, and heading down town.

A crowd of people surrounded the skate park, waiting in anticipation for Shane Clarke to perform his trick. Shane stood at the top of the ramp, giving himself a pep talk. Okay Shane you got this. It's only a back flip, I can do it.
Shane placed down his skateboard, stepped on and flew down the ramp, before flawlessly performing the back flip. The crowd erupted into cheers. One of Shane's friends ran towards him, giving him a high five. "That was awesome dude!" He said. "Yeah!" Shane agreed, ecstatic he was able to do the trick. "Finally, hit that back flip man!"
"Wanna hit the new rail?" His friend asked. Shane was about to say yes, before he got the feeling he was missing something. Quickly checking the time on his friend's watch, Shane's eyes widened. "No, I can't man. I got to get to class!" Shane said, as he quickly took of his helmet, and picked up his skateboard. "Class?" The friend asked, looking at the red clad boy in confusion. Shane quickly shook his head realizing his mistake. "Uh, never mind. Catch ya later, bro!" Shane called as he ran down the street, hoping he wasn't late.

(Next Scene)
Kelly, and Aria watched as the yellow motocross racer, crossed the finish line. Aria stopped the clock and looked down at the time.
"How'd he do?" Kelly asked.
"See for your self." Aria said as she handed the timer over to Kelly. Looking down at the clock, Not bad She thought to herself.
As the racer came towards the two girls, he took off his helmet, to reveal Dustin Brooks. "Lap times are about two seconds off." Kelly tells him, as Aria pats him on the shoulder. "Yea, I know! My bike's bogging on that uphill!" Dustin said as he shook his head, disappointed.
Pausing for a second, Dustin scratched his head. Was I supposed to do something, or be somewhere? Realization quickly set in. "Oh, what time is it?" He asked as he grabbed Kelly's arm, to see her watch. "Five after." She replied with a shrug. "Why, you have somewhere to be?" Aria asked. He quickly rolled his bike to Aria, and kissed her on the cheek in thanks. "Oh man! I'm so busted!" Groaned Dustin as he stripped his gear off. "Dustin!" Kelly, and Aria called after him, as he ran off. "Where are you going?" Aria asked. "I'll call you later, okay?" Dustin called back as he disappeared around the corner. With a sigh, Aria rolled Dustin's bike into Kelly's truck. "Your right Kelly." Aria said, once she was finished. "About what?" Kelly asked, as she picked up Dustin's discarded gear. "I did get used to the disappearing act." Aria said as she climbed into the truck, closely followed by Kelly. "I guess it only took a year." Kelly laughed, as she started the truck and drove off down the road. I wonder where they keep disappearing to? Aria thought as she looked out the window, watching the trees fly past.
