Chapter 7 (Battle to the Death?)

(Next Day, Storm Chargers)

 Kelly walked around her shop, making sure all the supplies needed for the day were out, and that no one needed any help. In the back of the store, stands Dustin, surrounded by clocks. He pulls a pocket watch out of his vest and checks the time. Then he picks up one on the table. With all these clocks there is no way I can be late.

Meanwhile Tori walks over to Shane in the sitting area, and hands him some hot chocolate. Shane sets the cup on the tables, and watches in awe as the skater on the screen performs impossible tricks. Tori sits down on the arm of the chair and looks up at the small television screen. "Kickflip 250-50," Shane said, as he watched the skater perform a trick he had been trying to pull off for a while. "That's what I go ta learn for my video." Tori and Shane watched the screen for a few seconds, before jumping in fright when all the alarm clocks went off. The three teens quickly drop what they are doing and head for the door. 

"Dustin!" Tori called as she and Shane reached the door. "Yo heads up!" Dustin called to Kelly as he tossed a grease covered rag to his boss. "Dustin, you're not gonna leave me here to clean up the shop." Kelly sighed in disappointment as her friends ditched her again. Dustin pauses for a second when he sees Kelly's face, and guilt sets in his stomach. "Have I ever told you what a cool boss you are, and besides Aria will be here to help." Dustin turns around and runs out the door. "Bye Kelly!" He calls as the door shuts.

(Next Scene)

The three teens are heading down the road towards the forest, Dustin sits in the back, and Shane and Tori sit in the front. The radio is on, and Dustin leans towards the window, while checking his watch.  "Are we on time?" He asks. "We're early." Says Tori in relief. Maybe we will get there on time for once. And hopefully not be expelled. 

"Hey they look like they need help." Said Tori as she drove past an elderly couple standing in front of a smoking engine. Stopping the van, Tori opens the driver's door, and hops out. "No way Tori we can't." Said Shane as he watched his friend climb out of the van. "We can't just leave them here. What if something happens to them?" Tori asks as she walks around the front of the van, towards the couple. "All I know is if we're late, something will definitely happen to us. And it wont involve fabulous prizes." Shane said as he climbed out of the car. Dustin decided to help, so he grabbed his toolbox, and walked towards Tori, ignoring the look Shane was shooting him. "Two minutes dude." Dustin said as he got to work.

(Next Scene)

Meanwhile at the academy, Sensei is meditating in the garden, trying to find the meaning of the dark cloud. The sudden realization hit him as the sky darkened, casting a shadow on his face. His eyes popped open, and panic covered his face. "Lothor!" Sensei gasped. Getting up and walking towarsd the academy, Sensei turned when lightning struck behind him. There stood Lothor and four of his minions. 

"The dark energy is strong in you." Sensei said to the man in black, with a black and red mask covering his face, except his eyes, and mouth. "It's had time to grow." The man said. "It has been a while." Said Sensei as he took a step towards Lothor. "Armies take time, and now is the time for revenge. Zurgane, proceed." Lothor commanded one of his minions. A creature stepped forward and bowed to his master. "As you wish sir." The army disappeared, as fast as it had appeared. 

"It doesn't have to be this way." Said Sensei, as Lothor walked towards him. "Why would now be any different?" Lothor asked, tauntingly. With a war cry Lothor shot a red beam of energy at Sensei, hitting a statue, and blowing it into pieces. As Sensei arose, Lothor got into his fighting stance. Waiting a second they began their battle. 

The ninjas training in the field stopped, when they saw an explosion,  not to far away. Once the smoke cleared, four bits of lightning hit the ground, taking the forms of the four minions, commanding Lothor's army. Zurgane, Marah, Kapri, and Choobo. "Kelzaks!" Kapri called as she lifted her hand. A large group of black and red aliens appeared. The ninja's instincts kicked in and they got into their fighting stances, he kelzaks charged, and the battle begun.

(Next Scene)

The elderly couple thanked the three teens for helping them with their car problem, before getting in and driving away. As Tori, Shane, and Dustin walked towards the van, Dustin said. "Hey, what if his alarm clock didn't go off and he doesn't even miss us?" Dustin asked, with a big smile on his face. "He's a ninja master Dustin. They don't over sleep." Said Shane as he opened the passenger's door. "Really?" Dustin asked as he climbed in the back. With an annoyed sigh, Shane climbed in, and closed the door. Seeing everyone was inside, Tori started the car, and drove towards the forest, wondering if today would be her last time going there.

(Next Scene)

Back at the academy the ninja's were losing the battle. Lothor was flying in the air, shooting energy beams at Sensei, and Sensei was barely dodging them. Zurgane, Marah, and Kapri, were taking down the ninjas with ease. "Trash them all!" Kapri yelled, as she took down another student. "Now Choobo." Growled Zurgane. The green minion, with a backpack, and a weir headset, stepped forward. "Goodbye wind ninja academy!" He said with a laugh as he leaned forward, which caused his backpack to open, and released spheres. The spheres captured every ninja and sent them to a spaceship. The entire school, was surrounded by a sphere and disappeared. Lothor shot one last energy beam at Sensei, ending the battle once and for all. The beam hits, and Sensei's face twists in pain.
