Chapter 19 (A Friend is a Brother your Heart Choose)

Hey guys we are starting off this chapter with a little brother/ sister moment and then going into the thunder rangers. Maybe we will be seeing Aria in action?

(The Cemetery)

Dustin was wondering through Blue Bay, desperately searching for his little sister. He knew she was upset, and that the beach calmed her, so he checked there first. After searching the entire beach, twice, he sat down on a rock to think. If she didn't go to the beach, where would she go? After some very deep thinking an idea popped into his head. Aria was talking about her family, and all the people she lost, so she would be at the cemetery, with her brother!" Thought Dustin, as he ran towards the church. 

Dustin skid around the corner of the church, and frantically searched for a brunette head among the stones. Releasing a breath, when he saw one, he quickly ran towards his emotional friend. As he got closer he could hear the sniffles and the weeping cries of his distraught sister. Sitting down beside her, he pulls her into his lap. She turns her head into his shoulder, as he rocks her back and forth. The tears roll down her face, and onto his shirt, soaking the arm. "It's okay. I've got you." Coos Dustin, as he feels a wet patch form on his sleeve. 

A few minutes later the loud sobs had turned into little whimpers. Slowly Aria pulled her head away from Dustin's shoulder. Looking down at his shirt, Aria felt a wave of guilt sweep through her. "Sorry that I ruined your shirt." Dustin looked down at the girl he thought of as a little sister with a worried smile. "Don't worry about it, as long as you are okay." He said. "I don't think I will ever be okay." Said Aria as new tears formed in her eyes. "You will be. It may take awhile, but you will be." Said Dustin as he wiped away the tears slowly falling down her cheeks. "How?" Aria whimpered. "Because you have me, and Shane, Tori, and Kelly." Reassured Dustin as he got up from the ground. He wiped the dirt off of his jeans before turning back towards Aria. "You will get better." Said Dustin as he put out a hand for her to grab. Aria looked up at her best friend/ brother, and slowly reached her hand towards his. Giving Aria a quick smile, he pulled he up from the ground, and threw an arm over her shoulder. "Do you want to go home?" Dustin asked. Aria responded by nodding her head and curling into Dustin. Down the street they walked, towards Aria's apartment.

(20 minutes later)

Dustin walked Aria up the stairs to her apartment, once they reached the door, she pulled out the key, and stuck it in the lock. Turning the key, the lock clicked and she walked into her apartment, with Dustin following behind. "Why don't you go to bed. You must be exhausted." Suggested Dustin, when he saw Aria standing in the hallway, looking lost. With a nod Aria went into her bedroom, and picked out a pair of pajamas. Aria pulls out a grey crop top, black Hollister jeans, and a pair of purple and white, fuzzy socks. 

Once she was dressed she climbed into her bed and stared at the ceiling, waiting for Dustin. A knock came from the other side of her bedroom door, and Dustin's voice rang out. "Can I come in?" "Sure." Croaked Aria, as she buried her head in her pillows. The door opened with a squeak revealing Dustin. Walking into the room her went directly over to the bed. Sitting down beside Aria, Dustin tried to think of something to say. "You know your brother would want you to be happy." Said Dustin. "I know, and Im trying." Answered Aria. "Well as long as you try." Said Dustin as he got up from the bed and walked toward the door. "Wait!" Said Aria. Dustin looked back at Aria to see her sitting up in the bed. "Please stay, just till I fall asleep." Begged Aria. "Sure." Answered Dustin as he walked back over to Aria. He pulled the covers up to her shoulders and tucked her in. "I'll always be here when you need me." Said Dustin as he layed down, on top of the blankets. Aria smiled at her brother and slowly fell asleep. 

Dustin glanced over at his friends, and a smile appeared n his face when he saw how peaceful she looked. He slowly got up from the bed so he wouldn't disturb her. Kissing her on the forehead he walked back over to the door. Turning the light off he closed the door, and headed to the entrance of the apartment. Locking the door, he ran down the stairs of the apartment complex, and towards Storm Chargers.

(Storm Chargers)

Tori, Shane, and Kelly were relaxing in the seating area, when Dustin ran into the store. "Hey bro, what's up?" Shane asked, while Tori and Kelly just looked at their friend in confusion.  "Nothing I just dropped Aria home." Answered Dustin as he sat down in one of the seats. "So how is Aria" Asked Tori. "Not so good, but she will get better." Replied Dustin. "I hope so." Sighed Tori. She was beginning to miss her bubbly friend.

Hey guys! What's up? I  know you all want to see Aria in action and it is coming, I just wanted to make sure that Aria's past was revealed, and that you could see the relationship between Aria and her friends. Once I start Aria as a power ranger, I can't stop it, so there will be no more relaxing days. I wanted to tell you that I may not be updating tommorrow because I am going snowtubing. There will also be the possibility of no updaing on monday, because I have soccer tryouts. Anyway that is all hope youn liked the update! Wish me luck for tryouts!
