sua's snuggled deeper into her bed, releasing an unladylike yawn when she woke. a cold nose poked her cheek, and the girl opened an eye to find chip smelling her face. with a lazy smile creeping across her face, she pulled a hand out from the comfort of her blanket to rub the puppy's head.
sua hummed softly, "good morning, my little spider-dog." chip let out a happy whine and dropped his head onto her hand.
a quiet yawn was heard from the other room, causing chip's head to snap up in alert and the noirette to smile brightly.
she couldn't get her ecstatic heartbeat to calm, but for the first time, she didn't mind it. it almost felt... good? especially since she knew exactly what-or who-was making her so excited.
chip tilted his head to the side and sua flung the comforter off her legs, accidentally burying the puppy.
slipping on some random mismatched socks (since none of her poor socks were paired correctly), sua quickly flattened her mess of short-hair in a little circular mirror and crept towards the open door.
slowly and silently humming the mission impossible theme song in her head, sua poked her head into the living room. her eyes crinkled into two loving crescents when she found hyuck asleep on the couch.
he looked so peacefully stunning. sua silently admired the way soft tuffs of his chocolate hair hung over his forehead, some wild strands covering his closed eyes. his lips were completely closed, soft breaths leaving his nose as his crossed arms rose and fell with his chest. the boy's head twitched slightly, and sua held her breath to prevent waking him.
the girl placed a gentle hand on her doorframe and dared to lean even further forward. bad idea.
sua's socked foot slipped on the hardwood, and she was able to catch herself before falling, but she still let out a loud oof in surprise. she slowly raised her wide gaze from her outstretched foot towards the boy (thankfully) still asleep on her couch.
sua let out a silent breath, lifting her head once more to find donghyuck's eyes open. letting out a sound only describable as keyboard spam, the girl fell backwards with all the grace of a startled hwang hyunjin.
letting her head fall towards a sideways hyuck (since he sat up and she was now flat on the floor), sua's eyes lit up.
"boy, you got me trippin'"
she watched in amused fascination as the boy slowly turned his head away, lips sucked in and eyes wide. drawing a shaky breath, he finally faced her. "stumblin'?"
sua shot upright with a large smile. "flippin'?"
"fumblin'?"
they both broke into deep, sarcastic chuckles at their rather dumb references, which soon turned into actual laughter.
as sua continued giggling, donghyuck jumped to his feet and approached the girl. when he was standing next to her, the idol held both hands our for the noirette to take. she did, and he pulled her to her feet with a welcoming grin.
