sua didn't even remember the rest of her day. it was boring compared to that morning. her mind kept replaying the moment on the balcony; what it felt like to be trapped between hyuck's arms, confessing her feelings for him, and finally, his reciprocated crush.
"i have to leave now, but i'll be back after work. i promise."
sua let out a childish giggle and buried her face in her pillows. she still couldn't believe this wasn't a dream. she was so, utterly in love with an idol.
her bedroom was thrown open and sua heard hyeseon let out an animalistic screech before jumping on the younger. "in sua, i can't take it anymore! tell me, tell me, tell me!"
after haechan left the girl on the balcony, she had to take a few minutes to process everything. sua was so starstruck and her heart was beating so fast, but she didn't want to immediately tell her roommates since she wasn't sure what the future held.
low and behold, hyeseon found her blushing and hadn't stopped pestering the noirette to get information out of her since.
sua kept her head hidden between her pillows, afraid that she'd give in to her elder's begging.
"no! it's private!" the girl managed to squeak. she was met with tickles to the ribs and keeping her composure became unbearable. "i-i can't tell you!" she screamed through her laughter, close to tears.
hyeseon released a long sigh and decided to flop on top of sua instead. "fine..." she slowly lifted her head until she caught the younger's gaze, doing her best to give puppy eyes. sua giggled and pushed her elder away.
"dummy! i can't tell you."
hyeseon rolled her eyes in a playful way but sat up. she ran her fingers through her long hair. "okay, in sua. you don't have to tell me... but that doesn't mean i can't ask!"
sua's smile instantly dropped. she mentally cursed, knowing very well that hyeseon could tell when she was lying.
catching the nervous glint in the noirette's eyes, hyeseon grinned. "i'll start simple. you guys were talking about chip."
the elder knew this wasn't true, but she wanted to test sua. as expected, the younger pursed her lips and feigned surprise. "wait, how did you know?"
"okay, so a lie."
sua groaned, slumping against her mattress. "this is mean!" hyeseon ignored her and continued with her questions.
"you finally confessed your undying love for our sunshine prince?" her words were littered with sarcastic slurs and giggles, intending for the question as another joke. however, when sua's cheeks dusted pink and her eyes raised towards the spot above hyeseon's head, the young twin gasped.
"wait, are you serious? innie, you queen!" the younger girl whined and hurried to her feet. "no fair!" "so did he respond?!"
sua's cheeks darkened and hyeseon screamed. the noirette quickly covered her ears and started yelling "lalala" repeatedly as she ran from the room.
