hyeseon, haechan, and sua walked together as they made their way back to the dreamie dorm. the couple had their hands naturally knit together while the eldest was constantly squeezing and flexing her fists in a fit of nervousness.
sua smiled mindlessly as she watched her roommate freaking out. "hye, you can chill out. they're super sweet." hyeseon continued internally panicking as donghyuck spoke up. "right. as if you were completely calm when you met them, too."
"ooh, exposed." the eldest whispered, and sua rolled her eyes.
"whatever. it was fine! they were nice and we played video games together."
hyeseon sighed, nervously running her hands through her hair. "yeah, well, i'm not that good at video games."
"it's fine, noona. if you feel uncomfortable or something, just bother sua."
the noirette gasped in fake offense as the brunette snorted. "as expected, haechan being a genius." "i'm literally bullied."
it didn't take long to reach the younger's dorm, and sua already felt excited to see the other members again. she was promised a secret trip to the pet store with noren, and that was enough to add a skip to her step.
the three had agreed back at her apartment not to take hyuck with them since they didn't want sasaengs more clearly recognizing the girl he'd been previously spotted with. of course, sua was a little disappointed, but it was for safety precautions. plus, a day with noren.
glancing over her shoulder, sua noticed hyeseon slightly inching further behind her. the younger smiles and reached out to take the brunette's hand. "don't be so nervous," she whispered. "confidence, queen. confidence."
hyeseon scoffed. "aren't i supposed to be telling you that?" sua shrugged, smiling once more before facing the now opening door.
the second the couple walked through the doors, a rather aggressively loud voice shouted: "what's up fuckers?!"
sua's eyes widened, teeth biting back her surprised laugh. "yah!" hyuck scolded the youngest foreigner, who was slumped against the couch with not an ounce of bothered on his face. however, when the guest popped up from behind sua, both chenle and a snickering jisung shot up and turned bright red.
"u-uh, he means s-suckers!"
the older of the two made a disgusted face towards his best friend. "no i most certainly did not, but okay." both boys yelped in pain when jeno smacked the back of their heads, flashing his famous eye smile at hyeseon.
"excuse them. you must be sua's roommate!" the said girl's cheeks were dusted pink in flustered surprise. "y-yeah." sua silently awed at her elder's stutter.
another voice was heard from a room in the apartment, and jaemin came sprinting into the living room. "omg, the roommate! we have much to discuss."
