Magic Shop: A Birthday's Tale (Part 2)

August 31 MON

12:30 pm

"Here." Taehyung said handing Jungkook a glass of water while the latter vacuums. Jungkook immediately smiled and accepted it since he was a little thirsty. He downs the glass in one go and Taehyung unexpectedly handed him another one. This time, Jungkook looked at him weirdly.

"What? Have one more. Being hydrated is good for you." He said making the younger drink another glass. Jungkook questionably drunk the second glass and went back to vacuuming the house.

Ji-ae is coloring on her coloring book that was gifted to her on her birthday last year while Taeguk is chatting with his friends through Taehyung's phone. They haven't given the kids any gadgets yet as to not ruin their eyesight at a young age so Taeguk uses Taehyung's phone to ask if his friends are ready for their project making.

1:35 pm

"Taeguk, have you clean your room?" Jungkook asked after placing the vacuum down and resting for a bit.

The kid was about to nod when he remembers that he was woken up by his parents shouting so he haven't clean his room yet. He shook his head and gave Taehyung's phone back to him. "Now, go upstairs and clean it first before taking a bath."

"Wait! W-why don't we all clean it? You know, family bonding!" Taehyung said after handing Jungkook a glass of water. Jungkook looked the older weirdly but agreed since he remembered that Taeguk will have visitors in an hour or so.

They all headed upstairs to Taeguk's room and saw that it was not that much of a mess. Jungkook picked up the boy's dirty laundry and gave to Taehyung to bring it to their laundry room while Ji-ae helps her brother picks up his toys that were on the floor.

2:15 pm

"Wow, what a work. Am I right?" Taehyung said after entering the room carrying a pitcher of cold water and four glasses on a tray. The kids ran to him and he gave them each a glass of cold water. While Jungkook just rolled his eyes at him. "You didn't even help us. Family bonding my butt." He said.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I had an important call, alright? I'll make it up to you." He said while handing Jungkook two glasses of water. "More for mommy!" He said. Jungkook scoffs and rolled his eyes once more.

"Seriously, what's with you today." Jungkook said as he drink the glasses of water. 'Wow, Jungkook's got some huge storage in him. How's he not peeing yet?' Taehyung thought as he watch the younger gulps down his second glass.

"Papa, I'll go take a bath!" Taeguk said and ran to his bathroom. "Come on, you too." Jungkook said to his youngest who's now pouting. "But I don't wanna bath! I hate baths!" The only girl of the family said. She crossed her arms on her chest and puffs her chest. "Well, young missy. You're all dirty now, you have to take a bath." Jungkook said tidying the tools they used to clean Taeguk's room.

"No!!" The little kid screamed and ran towards her father. "I don't wanna! Daddy!" Ji-ae struck herself to Taehyung's legs and refused to let go. "You have to, princess." Taehyung said scooping the child up to his arms. "I'll bathe her." He volunteered to Jungkook while being guilty for not helping them clean. Jungkook nodded his head and brought the tools to its original place.

3:08 pm

"Taeguk!" Taehyung called to his oldest after hearing the doorbell rang. Taeguk rushed downstairs carrying a notebook and his pencil case. "I'll open it!" He said and he went outside to open their front gate for his friends to enter.
