Jade and I arrive at Lakewood high. Jade drives a motorcycle so we decided it would be easier if we just carpooled together. I drop the twins off at preschool. Which was surprisingly difficult to do.

"Hi, is there any way I can get these 2 enrolled here?" I ask as nicely as I can

"Oh do you really think you can afford something like that?" The lady asks scrunching her nose up at me in disgust.

"Ma'am these kids aren't mine. They're my cousins. So can I please get them enrolled here?" I ask still trying to be nice, but clearly getting annoyed of her.

"If they aren't yours then can I speak to your parents to get the enrolled, by an adult." She says very rudely only chipping at my patience more.

"I really wish you could. So can you take my damn money and enroll them?" I snap back and she nods

I fill out all the kids information and pay, we leaving the building I flip the lady off for good measure before leading the kids back to my car. Which I now have car seats for since I'll be with them for a while now.

Jade and I hop out of the car I grab my black backpack and throw it over my shoulder. I link arms with Jade as we walk through the front door of the school.

Jade and I compare schedules and see we have all classes together but health, history and science.

Making our way to our first class, I ignore all the weird stares and just keep walking, elbow entwined with Jade'.

"Hello class, let's give a warm welcome to Ember Star" Mrs Jenna says and I wave awkwardly.

Each of my first 4 classes goes about the same as that. I have English with Eliazer and Jade. Art with Jade and Jasper, History with Jade.

I talked to Jasper some, he is super kind and so, so funny. I'm quite terrified of him and Jade together.

Walking to Lunch with Jasper he tells me how him, Eliazer and me are the 3 of the 4 new seniors at Lakewood. Apparently theres one more new student here, but he's not sure who it is.

I haven't really spoken to Eliziar much but after the situation at target, I'd rather not.

He seems nice and all. But we haven't really spoken which is fine.

There is this huge tree off to the side of the football field, meet me there.

Me:
Ok me and Jasper are on our way.

"Who was that?" Jasper questions. "Oh it was jade, she eats at a tree outside so we're gonna join her there." I tell him. "As long as you want to, of course" I say

"Oh my God, of course I want to he" he replies and I smirk at him.

Making our way outside. We scan the trees until find a super big tree with Jade sitting happily under it.

"Hey babe." I call out sitting directly beside her, leaning up against the tree. Jasper follows me and sits on the opposite side of Jade.

Not completely in the mood to eat, I decided to just sit on my phone instead.

"Hey Em, are you hungry?"  Jade asks, handing me some of her food. I scrunch my nose at the food, not in the mood to eat and shake my head in responce. "you do realize you still have to eat right?" Jade questions and I don't say anything in return, she sighs at me but doesnt say anything else.
