  "So what's next?" Jade asks on the way back to her house. "What do you mean?"

  "Well you've basically adopted the twins as your own, bought a house - well are about to buy a house. What's next for you."

"I guess right now my only concern is brunch with Mrs. Mary, then going to see Seth and Ashton at the dorm." I shrugged

  "You're acting like that's not a lot." She drawled. "Well it's not buying a house."

  "Fair"

   After being forced to get ready by a hyper Jade. Ember arrived at the quaint brunch restaurant, slightly grumpy from being woken up at normal human hours, but quite hungry.

  The main difference between Jade and I is that Jade would willingly choose to wake up at an early hour, every day.  While I, would sooner die than happily wake up before eleven am.

  As I strolled into the restaurant, I saw Mrs. Mary already sitting at a booth next to the window, looking at her menu. "Hi!" I said excitedly as I sat down across from her. "I hope I wasn't too late."

  "No, you're completely fine." She said with the same level of enthusiasm.

  "How have you been honey?" She asked with a look of sympathy in her eyes. "I've actually been pretty okay. It's been a very busy couple of weeks so there hasn't been a lot of time left to my thoughts."

  "That's good, I guess."

  "Yeah it's alright." I say honestly. "I'm just taking my life one step at a time for now. But I've been fine. How have you been, hows your husband?"

  "I'm good, he's good. I don't have anything going on recently, I've been quite bored since Ashton left for college. Its crazy how loud those two are."

  "They're absolutely insane." I laugh

  "While you're here, there's something very important I need to talk to you about." Mrs Mary says, looking me dead in the eyes. "Okay?" I say unsure, taking a sip of my water

  "When are you getting that Ashton and Seth get together." She asks and It takes all my self control not to spit my water out from surprise. "Are you making a bet on your kid?" I ask

"Yes. So I'm thinking it'll happen before Christmas."

  "That's what Jade said when we made our bets." I say, then slap my hand over my mouth. "You've already made a bet on them?" She asks laughing. "Jade and I have bets on everything." I say still embarrassed.

   "But I'm keeping my bet from before, Christmas is too early. Itll happen by the end of the school year."

  "You're on, I'm betting seventy five dollars."

  "Damn, you have a lot of faith in your unobservent son and his even stupider best friend."

  "Its a gut feeling." She says

  "Your guts wrong." I smirk

  We both enjoyed our brunch, I got waffles while Mrs. Mary got a southwest omelet. As we ate we caught up with eachother about everything going on.

  She told me how much she missed having Seth and Ashton around and how much she enjoyed taking care of the twins, since it gave her something to do.

  She offered to take care of Avery and Jay while I'm at the dorms, which I happily agreed to let her.

  "Thank you for this Ember, I really needed to get out." Mrs Mary said as I just finished paying for our meals. "Oh my pleasure, this was super fun." I told her honestly

  "Say hi to my son for me"

  "I'm here Bitches!" I yell as I walk into Seth and Ashton's dorm. "Hi Ember." They say in unison. My lips curl into a smile the moment I see Seth's short brown hair and Ashton's shoulder length blonde hair.

  I immediately run up and pull them both in a hug. "I missed you guys so much." I say into the hug. "We missed you too, or at least I did." Ashton says

  "I didn't." Seth says smirking at me and Ashton snorts beside me.

  "Bitch." I mutter

  "What did you just call me." He asks slowly

   Staring straight in his green eyes, I tried so hard not to laugh. So hard. "I called you a bitc- AH PUT ME DOWN YOU LITTLE"  I screamed as I was thrown over his shoulder. "Ashton, a little help?"

  "No, I'm enjoying this too much. Shit wheres me pocorn." Replied and sat down on one of the desk chairs as I struggled against Seth. "Seth you absolute imbecile, if you don't but me down right now- OW I DIDN'T MEAN DROP ME"

  "You're picky"

  "YOU DROPPED ME SIX FEET!" As I heard a crunch behind me I turned around and saw Ashton with a bag of popcorn. "Where did you even get popcorn from..?"

  "Control your boyfriend, would you?" I asked sarcastically and watched happily as Ashton choked on his popcorn. "W-we aren't dating!" They tried to tell me.

  "Uh huh"

   "I'm not even gay!" Seth tried to reason

   "Uh huh" I smirk.
