The next summer is an extra-long one due to finishing school early after exams, so Win has a lot of time to kill. Of course, he spends most of it with his boyfriend, but they try and hang out with their friends as much as possible. They hold camp outs in the field, and throw parties at houses and time begins to fly by.

At the first campout, Saint suddenly announces that they should play spin the bottle again.

"No way," New immediately says. "Not when I'm sober."

"You only had to kiss Tay last time!" Saint points out. "Come on, please?"

"No, Saint." Bright throws his arm around Win. "Not again."

"Oh, I get it, Mr. Protective," Saint replies sarcastically, crossing his arms over his chest.

For the rest of the conversation, Saint sits in a huff and eventually goes into the tent, closely followed by Zee. The conversation gradually turns into two separate ones between Bright and New and Win and Tay. It's not long until Saint returns with a Monopoly box and a smile on his face, so a tournament begins.

-------

"Ah, but I have a hotel on there. Hand it over." Saint holds a hand out to Win for the extra 7000 Baht that he's owed because of that stupid hotel round the corner.

Win digs through the notes he has organized in front of him and cringes when he sees he doesn't have enough. Bright – who has two houses on all of his properties, and therefore quite a lot of money – grabs Win's hand between their thighs and subtly hands him three 6, 1000 baht notes.

Win grins and hands the money over to Saint, who looks slightly surprised.

"He's cheating," he announces. "I counted his money and knew he wouldn't have enough!"

"Well, you counted wrong," Win replies, taking Bright's coke from him and stealing a sip, kissing his cheek in thanks.

Saint frowns and rolls a six, landing on one of Win's properties.

"That's 8000 baht please," Win says, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

The game ends and everyone decides to go to bed when Bright and Saint are the only two remaining and they keep accusing each other of cheating.

The tent is split up into four sections: the main area, and three bedrooms. Tay and New somehow get to the biggest bedroom first, so Win and Bright find themselves squashed together in the smallest. They both strip down to their boxers, and Bright unzips the sleeping bags so they act as a quilt over the two of them on their airbed.

They lie apart from one another at first, feeling ever so slightly awkward, as this is the first time they have spent the night together in the same bed since they started dating, considering they weren't allowed sleepovers anymore.

Eventually, Bright whispers, "Come here," and pulls Win close. Win tucks his head in the crook of Bright neck and wraps his arms around his waist, tangling their legs together.

Bright buries his face on Win, breathing in his scent. "Love you," he whispers.

"Love you too," Win whispers back, raising his head so they can press their lips together gently. "I wish I could spend every night with you; like this," he mumbles against the corner of Bright's mouth.

Bright smiles. "Maybe we will, one day."

"Do you really mean that?"

Bright nods, the grin still covering his face.

Win lets out an embarrassing squeak, throwing himself on top of his boyfriend and kissing him passionately, their tongues moving together sensually in their mouths.

When Bright's thigh slips accidentally between Win's legs, he groans quiet loudly, already feeling himself hardening. Blame his hormones when he is around Bright.

Suddenly, the wall of the tent behind their heads is pushed in and they jump.

"Seriously, guys, we get that you're having a moment, but we would appreciate it if you didn't start fucking in there."

Win looks down at the older man and grins; Bright holds at the back of his head and pulls their lips together again, huffing laughter into each other's mouths.

Win wakes up the next morning, spread across Bright's chest with one arm around his neck and the other by his side, gripping onto his hand. He lets out a sound of contentment, nuzzling further into his boyfriend's collarbone and closing his eyes again, thinking that he really could get used to this.

Can I come over to yours pls?

To: Brightie :) <3

Of course! See you in a bit :)

Win attempts to ignore the feeling of nerves settling in his stomach at the text he receives from his boyfriend. It sounds so formal; he never normally asks to come round; he usually just turns up.

A few minutes later, he is sat in the living room with the rest of the family when the doorbell rings. Win jumps up, saying that it will be Bright and that he'll answer it.

"Hi," Win greets when he opens the door.

"Hey," Bright replies. "Can I come in?"

Win pulls the door open wider so Bright can get past, trying to get rid of the 'He's breaking up with me' mantra forming in his head. He follows Bright upstairs to his room, where they sit down together on the bed, and after a moment, Bright turns to face him, holding both of Win's hands in his.

"I've got something to tell you," he starts.

"Okay..."

"I got into an excelling Arts School."

Win throws his arms around Bright's stiff form, exclaiming, "I'm so proud of you!"

When Bright does not reciprocate, Win slowly pulls back, questioning with his eyes.

Bright bites his lip and swallows a couple of times before saying: "It's in the US."

Win does not twig on to what Bright is saying straight away; he keeps staring at him as if waiting for the punch line.

"Win?" Bright says softly, watching him and waiting for a response.

"US?" Win finally squeaks, tears brimming in his eyes.

"Baby," Bright whines, pulling Win close into a tighter-than-tight hug and brushing his fingers through his hair. "Baby, please don't cry."

"A-america?" Win says again, his voice muffled by Bright's t-shirt.

"I'm so sorry, baby, please, please don't be upset," Bright croaks, noticing that he also has tears dripping from his jaw.

"How c-can I not be up-upset?" Win stammers. "You're going away fr-from m-me, and I'll m-miss you s-so much!"

"I'll miss you too, love," Bright whispers hoarsely. "All of the time."

The boys sit there for the next twenty minutes in complete silence, just holding each other close and crying quietly, whispering sweet nothings to one another in between sobs.
