Chapter 5

Lisa's POV

It has been 2 weeks since the incident and Jennie has been taking care of me, well, I wouldn't say she's doing it personally but she's been telling the maids to bring me food during breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it's so thoughtful of her to monitor my medicine intakes.

I am now fine, although the wound is still there but it can be managed.

"I am going to the company" That's what Jennie said when I saw her in the garden.

"what time are we leaving?" I asked.

"In 5 minutes" She said. She's already dressed up, and so do I, but I went upstairs to grab my gun and my knife.

We are now on our way to the company.

We reached the company, and as usual, the people around are bowing down to her. While walking, its visible that she's oozing in class and elegance. she's the epitome of beauty.

We reached her office. she sat down on her chair and carefully went through the papers in front of her.

minutes have passed. I saw her pressed the button on the phone in front of her.

"Amanda" She simply said, then her assistant came rushing.

"Yes Miss Kim?" Amanda, her secretary bowed down.

"Get Jisoo on the phone and tell her to come here" She said without looking at her.

Amanda, her assistant bowed down and went out. after 30 minutes, Jisoo arrived.

"You called me?" She asked. she didn't even knock and it didn't bother Jennie.

"Plan me a trip, I need a break" Jennie said closing the last paper she finished signing.

She didn't visit the company for almost 3 weeks but her assistant has been bringing her folders of proposals and issues in the company, she has no choice since her parent's were out.

"where and what do you want to do?" Jisoo asked as she sat down and grabbed the fruit in front of her.

"You know me, give me something relaxing please? for 4 days!" she said.

"the 3 of us?" Jisoo asked then we heard a knock on the door.

"come in!" Jennie asked, a little irritated.

"Miss Kim, someone named Rosé is looking for Lisa" Her assistant Amanda said.

Chaeng is looking for me?

"let her in" I think Jennie recognised her.

I saw Rosé walked in. she bowed twice, to Jennie and Jisoo.

"May I speak with Lisa Miss Kim?" She said formally. I saw Jennie laughed.

"don't be formal, sure, you may speak with her" I saw chaeng bowed down before grabbing me.

Change and I headed outside.

"I have news" She immediately said.

"What?"I said.

"I decided to quit my profession" she said. My eyes widened because it was her long time dream, to become the greatest singer.

"Why? Isn't singing your life?" I asked, I mean its so sudden.

"Yeah, but the fame and fortune I'm having right now is enough, I want to try something new, something challenging" She said.

Oh god please don't tell me I'm right with my hunch.
