Chapter 12

Lisa's POV

It's been 4 days since we arrived here. We didn't do much yesterday but throw ourselves either on the couch or in the pool.

3 days left before the vacation is over.

I stood up from my bed and went down stairs. I heard the girls in the kitchen bickering.

"No chu, that's not right, it'll reduce the taste of the dish" Jennie objected as she tried to stop Jisoo from putting something on the pot.

"No, Jen, it'll put flavor" Jisoo argued.

they're cooking lunch.

"What's the commotion girls?" I said. they paused at what they're doing.

"Ask Lisa, they've been like that for the past 5 minutes" Chaeng said as she tried to cover her ears.

They're fighting over a lemon. I both gave them death glares. I continued to cook the steak that they're cooking. after a few minutes, I serve the food paired with mashed potatoes and an orange juice.

We enjoyed lunch more than we thought. I saw Jennie stealing glances, is there something she needs to tell me?

Chaeng and Jisoo volunteered to do the dishes so Jennie and I went t the living room to watch some movies. I sat at the end of the couch while she sat on the floor placing her chin on the table. the two girls then followed. as we continued to watch the movie, I heard Jennie released a big sigh in the middle of the movie, but I guess the two girls failed to noticed it.

I stood up and went to the balcony to check some possible outdoor activities that could take their minds off of whatever it is occupying it.

I went through google to look for outdoor activities and I successfully found one. But it's something that the Jennie Kim is scared of, but I didn't hesitate, I want her to face her fear. I called and booked us for the afternoon, at first they hesitated but I handled it.

I went in front of them blocking their view.

"We're going scuba diving" I said. I saw mixed emotions, Chaeng was excited, Jisoo was confused and Jennie? I cannot describe her expression but I can say that she does not agree with the plan.

The girls stood up and went to their rooms as I asked them to pack extra clothes, towel, and wear a swim suit.

I waited at the living room since I finished first. Next to come out was Chaeng, Jisoo and lastly Jennie. I just want to laugh at their faces but I held it back. The beach was near so we just walked our way to the boat. As soon as we arrived at the resort not far from the house, I left them at the lobby and went to the receptionist, telling them that we booked a scuba diving for 4 ladies. After 5 minutes, our guide approached me. I went back to the lobby to pick the girls up.

we entered a medium size room, enough for 5 to 10 people. we had a quick session, telling us the do's and don'ts and what we should do. I sat beside Jennie while Jisoo and Chaeng sat in front of us. I felt her trembling so I grabbed her hand and gently massaged it. Before my mom died, this is what she does every time I'm scared.

I felt her calm down. I continued to massage her hand until the session was done.

Jennie's POV

I was trembling in fear, Scuba diving isn't really my sport. I'm always afraid of the vast ocean, it's dark color makes me tremble, it's cold water sends shivers down my spine and it's endless pit makes me feel that I am falling endlessly even though I am floating.

Lisa always make me do things I am not comfortable or afraid of doing but she's also the one who calms me down. I flinched when she grabbed my hand. I was about to protest but she massaged it so gently that I calmed down. I let her do that. The session was over, I thought she was going to let go of my hand which somehow made me sad. But to my surprise she didn't. She held me until we reached the beach. I don't know if she knew what she's doing or it's just her instinct. But I didn't pull back, I just let her.
