Chapter 25

Jennie's POV

It's Saturday, today is the dinner party. I am here in my room, too lazy to get up but I have too. My glam team will arrive anytime soon. I went inside my bathroom and took a cold shower. I wore undergarments and top it with my black silk robe and went downstairs. I saw mom and dad in the garden so I proceeded their way, Lisa was also there with them discussing stuff about the security. My parents insisted to place Lisa for security, instead, she's joining us at dinner as my girlfriend. 

I greeted mom and dad and kissed them each on the cheeks. I head to Lisa's way and gave her a quick peck on the lips. "Good morning hon" I said giving her a big smile. "Good morning" She grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to her side as we listen to my dad talk about the event later. Rosie went back to the headquarters, she said she needed some accessories for later. 

Lisa and I headed to the dinning hall for breakfast. 

"Good morning Miss Jennie" One of the maids greeted me and bowed down. I passed by them and sat on my spot on the table. Lisa sat across me.

"What about mom and dad?" I asked. 

"They already ate, they both woke up really early today for the event" She said. I just nodded. I hope everything will go well later.

My glam team arrived. I told them that we'll start around 12:30pm so that we can eat lunch first. I asked the maids to give them something to eat. I stayed inside my room when I heard a knock. "Come in" I said. I saw Lisa came in. 

"Hi hon!" I said. she closed the door and went to my direction. 

"Hi, I just want to give you these" She gave me 1 big box and 1 small box. I sat on the bed and slowly opened the big box first. It was a black Glock 17 with a touch of pink, a pocket knife and a throwing knife. I always saw a little card. I raised it to her.

"That's your license. I asked permission from your dad and mom already and they agreed with me" She said. I was overwhelmed because I am not used to this. 

"I gave you this, in case I won't be there, at least you can protect yourself" She said. She's always the thoughtful one in our relationship. I should do something for her. 

"This one, open this" She said handing me the small box. I untie the ribbon and open the lid. there I saw a gold bangle bracelet with our initials J L. 

I looked at her with teary eyes. 

"Thank you hon!" I said and hugged her. 

"Anything for you. Please wear it later okay?" She said. I nodded. we share a short passionate kiss before she exited my room. 

Lisa's POV

I marched to my room and took a quick shower. My emotions are mixed up right now because of this event. Seeing the Queen again gives me this unexplainable feeling. After showering, I wore undergarments and top it with a white silk robe given by Jennie. I head to the room where Rosie and I are gonna have our make up and changing of clothes, while Jennie and her parents occupy the next room. 

The glam team that's doing my hair and make up is the same as the one I had during that event. 

"Hi Miss Lily, the last time I was here you were just her bodyguard, now you're her girlfriend" The hair dresser said. I smiled to her comment.

"You two really look good together" She said. I mouthed thank you and smiled. 

She stared at me for at least 5 minutes before she grabbed the curling iron. she started to lightly curl my hair, after she did that, she tweeze them on the root part to have a volume effect and a messy style. she then fixed my bangs. After curling my hair, she tied half of it. She used a black hair tie. She turned to Rosie. It's time for my make up.
