Lost

Chapter 1

Lisa's POV

It has been a long, exhausting day for me. We recently accomplished a mission, a huge deal of drugs and killings and we -I can proudly say- eliminated the head of it all.

My team and I were back in the headquarters and I am currently unpacking my stuff inside my bedroom.

I am Lisa Manoban, 24 years old, a highly trained agent and the best yet. I lost my family when I was 10 years old to a fire that burned our whole house down and that's when the head of the agency found me. Mr. Lee. He treated me as his own and trained me and turned me to the person I am today.

I was about to fall asleep because my body has demanded me to do so when I heard a knock on my steel door.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Mr. Lee is looking for you" the person said on the other side of the door. 

"Will be there" I grunt as I stood up and made my way to his office. 

I knocked on the big wooden door thrice.

"Come in" Mr. Lee said. 

"Mr. Lee? You called me?" I asked.

His office is huge and it's white with a minimalist theme.

"Yes, Have a seat" He said pointing at the chair positioned in front of his desk.

I took a seat and waited for his next sentence.

"I just want to personally congratulate you for the success of the Mission" He said pausing. I gave him a smile and a nod, acknowledging his praise.

"Now, I know that you just got back from the field and all tired and drained but I couldn't find anyone better than you and this is a friend of mine and he personally request for the best and I know that we don't cater baby sitting but this is a favor I'm granting for a friend." He said. I know where this is going.

"You want me to guard someone" I said.

"Yes. You know the Kims right? the royalty of the country? the wealthiest?" He said.

"Yeah, what about them?" I said. 

god, I hate baby sitting. The last person I baby sit, almost got hit with my gun because of his carelessness. 

"Well, they need someone to look after their daughter while they're away. they'll be gone for five months and they cannot trust her safety to anyone but us." He said.

"Do I have a choice?" I asked.

"No. look, Lisa, Just do this for me okay?" He said smiling. every time he calls me Lisa, it's the father figure that's asking and not the boss. 

"Fine, when do I start?" I asked. 

"Tomorrow, I'll accompany you to their house, the Kims are leaving tomorrow evening" He said. 

"Okay, I'll be out now, I'm meeting a friend" I said and head out. 

Actually, I'm not meeting anyone, I just don't want to be disturbed for the rest of the day. I need pure calmness and relaxation and I could get that through spending the day in bed reading a book. Yes, I'm an agent but I'm also a bookworm. 

I went to my room, placed a black tag on the out part of the door and locked it. people understand that if I place a black tag outside, I don't want to be disturbed. 

It's already 5am. I think I slept for 14 hours I forgot to eat dinner. 

I prepared my things because Mr. Lee said I'm staying at their mansion since the Kims basically dismissed their security and bodyguards and replaced it with the people in our agency and I am heading the team.
