Chapter 24

Queen Samantha's POV

I am sitting on my usual spot. The place is almost empty, this is why I enjoy dining in here.I saw a familiar person, the first Lady who came in.

"Miss Kim" I called. I know Jennie Kim, we've meet a couple of times before with her parents.

she then headed to my direction and bowed down. "Your highness" She said. 

"It's nice to see you here, are you alone?" I asked, maybe I could have some short chat with her. 

"I'm with my girlfriend" She then turned her attention to the lady who just entered the vicinity. 

Lily.

I didn't know what to feel. She looks a lot like my daughter. 

Emilia.

Jennie called her girlfriends attention and she started to head our way. tears were flooding on the side of my eyes. I she really my granddaughter? I looked at her, she got Emilia's eyes. 

"Your highness, this is Lily, my girlfriend" Jennie said. Lily bowed down to me.

"It's nice to finally meet you your highness" Lily said. I wanted to hold her. something inside me is telling to hug her but I kept my posture. 

"Nice to meet you too Lily, why don't you two join me?" I offered, "I don't take no for an answer" I added. I saw Jennie chuckled. 

"How can we say no to the queen?" She joked. she sat beside Lily who's currently across me. Are you really my granddaughter? Don't you recognize the resemblance Lily?

Our food has arrived and we happily ate and had some short chats about the Kim's business. It was a really nice meal for me. I have been observing Lily and I can see some similar hobbies that Emilia used to have when she was young. Like how her eyes widened when she likes the food she's eating, how her gums shows when she smiles, and how she always leave a little portion of the meat behind, just like her mother. 

But my assumptions have no strong evidence. I need to have a DNA test of her. As soon as we finished the meal, the couple went ahead. I was left here in the restaurant. I called a number. 

"Hello, yes, I need you to run a DNA test for me, I'll give you the samples" I said and ended the call. 

Lisa's POV

The dinner was a little awkward because the Queen kept glancing at me. Her actions made me a little more curious as to why she invited us and about that stalker who's been following me. I shrugged the thought off, I might be over thinking.

"You okay hon?" Jennie asked. I looked at her who's sitting peacefully beside me. 

"Yeah, why?" I asked as I focused my eyes on the road. 

"You've been silent since we went down from the hill" She said. I must have thought about it too much.

"I'm sorry, a little occupied" I said, as much as I want to tell her, I cannot open it up yet because I'm still unsure. 

"It's okay, I understand, you can tell me when you're ready but don't think too much about it okay?" She said holding my hand. I kissed her hand. I am so lucky to have her in my life. 

We arrived at the mansion in no time, Mr. and Mrs. Kim were on the dining hall with Rosie who's enjoying the dinner. We made our presence known to them and joined them on the table, though we didn't eat. We joined in with their conversation.
