Queen Samantha's POV
The Kims invited the Royal family to a private dinner party. I accept their invitation for the reason that I wanted to see Lily. We arrived at the Mansion. They're undeniably rich. I am good friends with Jennie's grandfather who passed away due to a war, this is why we have a close connection.
We arrived at their front door and saw them in elegant dresses. My butler opened the door for me and helped me leave the car. the 4 of them bowed down to me. I saw Lily. Her look gave emphasis on her eyes. Just like her mother.
I smiled and shook hands with them and went inside the mansion. We headed to the garden where a beautiful big table was set up. Ella and Lana followed me from behind. We sat on the table, everything was mellow and perfect.
"It's been a long time since visited your mansion" I opened a conversation.
"Yes indeed, We've been away too for 4 months and left the company to Jennie, It's actually nice to have you over" John said.
"I bumped into these 2 when I visited Amore and It's really nice to be catching up with the Kims." I said smiling.
"Is this Ella's granddaughter?" Vivian Kim asked.
"Yeah, she's all grown up now" Ella said looking at her granddaughter who's just sitting listening to the conversation.
"How old is she?" John asked.
"She's 23 already" Ella said, I saw them nod.
"She's only 1 year younger than my granddaughter" I mentioned, I saw their eyes widened.
"Yes, we heard about that on the news, how?" John asked. I nodded.
"My daughter, Emilia, who died years ago, gave birth to a baby girl, but she was kept from me from a very long time. A month ago, I decided to reopen her case, and there I found out that she has a child. I don't know the name of the child and the surname it carries but I'm pretty sure she's just around" I said and glanced at Lily who's closely listening to the conversation.
"Did you find her?" Jennie asked. I gave her a smile.
"I actually did" I said. She's just here in this table.
"Wow, does this mean that she'll take the place?" Vivian asked.
"Yes, she has to" I said. I saw them nod.
Flashback
"Your highness, a letter from the hospital just arrived today" My butler said interrupting my peaceful tea time.
"Thank you" I said as he handed the letter to me. My heart is pounding. I am nervous of the possibilities. Although I can feel a strong connection between Lily and I, it is still not enough to prove something.
I slowly opened the sealed envelope and unfold the results.
POSITIVE
My tears fell. Finally, my granddaughter.
End of flashback.
We continued our little chats and our dinner. As the kids were done with their meal, Vivian, John, Ella and I are the ones left on the table.
"I may say, it's really nice of you to accept Jennie and Lily's relationship despite the judgements of the people" I said taking a sip of the tea being served.
"Our daughter's happiness is what matters the most to us. If she's happy with Lisa, then, we'll let her, and honestly, we haven't seen her this happy, so if she's happy with Lisa, we'll accept them with an open arms" Vivian said.
