Lisa's POV
I never moved away from my spot since last night. My heart is so heavy, I don't know what I should feel. I'm getting numb when I felt a warm hug from behind.
"Love"
I heard the voice that I yearn to hear. Her voice and warm hug gave comfort to me.
"Hi Hon" I said. she moved in front of me.
"How are you?" She asked. I gave her a weak smile.
"Better, since you're here" I said. She planted a soft kiss on my lips. What would I ever do without her?
"Love birds" I turn and saw Chaeng and Jisoo heading our way.
"We were worried about you" Chaeng said.
"I'm sorry, but I'm fine now" I said lying. I still don't know what to do with the new information. they sat with me on the ground.
"So, what now?" Jennie spoke.
"I honestly don't know." I said and let out a big sigh.
"Lisa, you need to make this decision" Jisoo said.
"I know, but I don't want to leave my job, I love my job, I love protecting you" I said looking at Jennie. I don't want to leave her side.
"I know hon, but now that you have your grandma, I think it's fair that you should also spend some time with her." She added. She has a point. somehow, I still want to know my supposed to be life. I still want to know more about my family, at least, about my mother.
"Maybe you're right" I said. Maybe I should give this new life a chance.
"Should we start calling you, YOUR HIGHNESS?" Jisoo teased. I heard them laughed and I just gave her a death glare.
"ewwww!" I exclaimed. we shared a short moment of laughter when the clouds decided to shower us with its tears.
"Lets go!" I grabbed Jennie and hopped inside my car. Jisoo and Chaeng took the other car and we both drove down the hill.
"ugh, this stupid dress is sticking to my skin" I said while I park the car beside the road, trying to fix this dress.
I heard Jennie laughed and I gave her a glare.
"You should get used to it" She teased. I let out a sigh of frustration.
"Let's just go home" I said. she nodded trying to stop the laughter.
At least I have you.
Few days have passed since that dinner party. Surprisingly the Queen hasn't contacted me yet. I am here with Jennie inside the mall, she wanted to go shopping since she hasn't done it for a very long time.
I am still happy that I am still living a normal life, though Jennie won't stop teasing me with the your highness thingy. We're inside a boutique wherein she's looking for shoes. I just sat on the couch inside the VIP room.
I was scrolling through my SNS account and saw the picture Jennie posted, a picture of the two of us. I smiled at the sight. I scrolled for a few minutes. I tried to refresh my feed, it was the move I regretted the most.
