Chapter 14

Jennie's POV

We started packing. I hate to leave but we have to, we need to face reality and burry ourselves with work.

I finished packing my stuff and went out of my room. I saw Lisa standing outside my door, maybe she's here to help me with my luggage. She gave me a smile and took my luggage off my hand. We headed down stairs but I see no luggage of hers.

maybe she loaded it into the car first.

Rosé and Jisoo came with their luggages.

"Let's go?" Lisa said, we stepped outside the house, I took a quick glance before closing the door. I hopped in at the back seat.

we arrived at the airport and went straight to the runway, Jisoo contacted her private pilot to come pick us up. I saw a girl in suit. clearly she's not the pilot. I said at the back of my head because her outfit doesn't say so.

she opened the the door for us. Lisa unloaded the luggages but there were only 3 luggages, where's Lisa's luggage?

Lisa motioned her hand and the person who I assume is a body guard followed her. I saw Lisa talk to her, like giving her precise instructions. The lady kept nodding. Lisa together with the lady went to our direction.

"This is Agent Sam, I assigned her to be your personal bodyguard for the mean time. She'll accompany you going back home" She said. I gave her a confused look.

"I'll be out for a few days, I am needed somewhere, urgent and important, I'll explain further when I get back, for the mean time, Sam will be with you everywhere you go. She'll basically fill my spot" She said. I don't know why but I got sad by the fact that I won't be seeing Lisa for a few days. I nodded, as if there anything I can do about it.

I hopped on the plane wishing this day didn't come. The substitute agent sat behind me. I saw Lisa hopped on a helicopter, but she waved good bye to me before both aircraft ascend.

Lisa's POV

As much as I hate to leave my post, I have no choice, there was an emergency at the other headquarters and Mr. Lee trust no one to handle it but me.

"Lisa, I need you to visit HQ0092, there has been a problem and It's urgent, I cannot leave right now, I sent a helicopter to come pick you up, I also set Sam to cover for you" Mr said.

He ended the call before I could say a thing.

I hopped into the helicopter, I saw Jennie looking at my direction so I waved good bye.

I'll see you soon.

our aircrafts went separate ways.

30 minutes air travel, we landed on the helipad of the headquarters. Everyone greeted me with respect. Its rumoured that I am inheriting the agency anytime soon but Mr. Lee is healthy and alive.

I went straight to my office and instructed an emergency meeting.

Jennie's POV

I am not used to not having Lisa around. I am at the company and its been 3 days and no sign of Lisa. I drowned myself with work, I rarely communicate with Sam.

I heard a knock on my door, "come in" i said without looking who's entering. I let sam stood behind the door, who the hell is she to sit on the couch?

"Miss Jennie, its already 1:45pm, you haven't eaten our lunch" Amanda said.

"I'm not hungry" I said and motioned my hand for her to leave. But she didn't, she placed a paper bag in front of me. The print was from my favorite restaurant. Amanda left and closed the door.
