Lost

Chapter 20

Lisa's POV

A week has passed and Jennie was able to recover from her fever. She's back in her office while I sat on the couch. Mr. Lee informed me that he's sending Chaeng on my way because according to her "she's bored"  Mr. Lee wanted her to be some sort of my assistant or just be there with me to learn and engage in the field. I heard a knock on the door, probably Chaeng.

"Come in" Jennie said as she closed the last folder she's signing. As the door opened, Chaeng took a peek which made me laugh. I approached her and give her a hug. 

"Good morning!" She greeted. She came to Jennie to give her a hug.

"What brings you here?" Jennie asked as she glanced at me. beautiful. I smiled at her which made her blushed. cute.

"Stop flirting you two" She said which cause Jennie to blush even more. I laughed and sat on the couch. Jennie went back to reading the reports while Chaeng sat beside me.

"I miss you" She said. I laughed again cause she's like a child.

"Stop it, you're not a child anymore" I said removing her cling to my arm but she pouted. 

"Mr. Lee gave me a lot of deadly trainings. During my first week, my body was literally in pain. It was hard for me to move or do even simple task and he didn't spare me from the next set of trainings" I can see frustration on her face and I am holding myself from laughing.

"You wanted this" I said and closed my eyes.

"Good thing he allowed me to be with you, it's really boring there you know" She said as she leaned her head on my shoulder. I glanced at Jennie who was looking at us with a poker face.

Is she jealous?

I wanted to smile but it might annoy her more. 

"Well, at least I have someone to do things for me" I gave her a teasing smile while she gave me a pout. such a child.

time went by so fast and it was a tiring day for Jennie Kim. She decided to go to her room without eating dinner, so I bought her food to her room. Chaeng on the other hand was fixing her stuff back in the headquarters to live here in the mansion with us.

I knocked on Jennie's door "Come in" She said. I saw her as she stepped outside the bathroom looking like a fresh bathed goddess. I gave her a big smile as I place the food on her table. "You didn't really have to" She said as she sat on her vanity table to dry her hair. I approached her and took the blower off her hand and dry her hair for her.

"You have to eat you know, I don't want you getting sick again" I continue to dry her hair. as it dries of, I combed it a hundred times. I can feel a pair of eyes looking at me but I didn't mind her and continues to brush her beautiful hair. 

"Thank you" She said. I smiled and placed the brush on the table. I bent down and gave her a kiss on the cheeks. "Time for you to eat" I said as I drag her on the table.

I was just staring at her while she's eating.

"I forgot to tell you, Chaeng is living here, Mr. Lee already informed your parents and they agreed to it. We're sharing rooms" I said. I saw her reaction changed. 

"you guys don't really have to, we have spare rooms" She said. is she jealous?

"Nah, it's fine, we don't want to--" She cut me off.

"I'm not sharing you with anyone" She said. my eyes widened with her words but it also filled my stomach with butterflies.

"I mean, I can give her the room downstairs, it won't be a problem" She said looking away but her blush is evident.
