They pulled to a stop in front of Raphael's house, where Leah quickly unbuckled herself. "Thanks." She mumbled.
"Leah." Raphael called to her, making her pause her actions to look at him. "Can we sort this out, please?" He asked softly.
The witch closed her eyes with a soft sigh before slowly nodding her head. "Fine.." She said.
He nodded, grateful that they were at least going to attempt sort the issue out. "My place or yours?" He asked.
"Yours." She answered. "I'd rather deal with one of you at a time." She added, throwing a glance to her house across the street.
He nodded silently before they both got out of the car, Leah making a straight bee-line inside and upstairs to his bedroom. As soon as she entered, she grabbed her bag and changed out of her clothes into a pair of sweats. "I thought we were moving in like we had planned." She said as she began packing her clothes.
"Don't leave.." He begged her. "Please."
She stared at him silently and nodded slowly. She ran her hand through her dark locks with a sigh. "You wanted to talk." She said. "So, talk."
"I told you the truth." He said.
"I know, Raphael." She replied. "I understand that but I needed you.. And you weren't there. You didn't even try to contact me the entire summer."
"I know." He sighed.
"Exactly.." She stated. "So, what am I supposed to do? Take you back with open arms because now it's convenient for you? Because I've healed? Because you don't want to deal with my Daddy issues?"
He shook his head, ashamed with himself. "No, of course not." He said softly.
"I stuck with you through all your father's attempts.." She said as a tear slid down her cheek, causing her to quickly wipe it away. She shook her head, sniffling softly as she composed herself. "Maybe we do need space."
Raphael stared at her, wanting nothing more than to pull her into his arms and beg for her forgiveness. "Leah.." He began but saw her shake her head.
"No." She said. "Stay away from me."
She zipped her bag closed and walked past him only for Raphael to gently take hold of her hand, which was a mistake on his part as Leah flung herself around, glaring daggers at him before he felt pain course throughout his entire body, bringing him to his knees.
"I told you to let me go." She said emotionlessly as he stared up at her in shock. "But clearly you are dumber than most dogs. Don't make me put you down."
"When did you become so cold?.." He asked softly. One minute she was tearful and the next she had become void of emotion.
"When I wasted magic on your sorry ass." She replied cooly.
"So, this is it?" He asked with unshed tears. "We're done?"
"Yes." She responded instantly. "And Liam is looking mighty cute." She added with a smirk, leaving him in his bedroom.
The werewolf swerved his car to a stop aggressively and got out, storming his way past the students and straight towards Liam who had been casually sipping his drink.
He grabbed hold of the Alpha as his eyes turned red. "You stay the hell away from her!" He yelled, his fist connecting to Liam's jaw.
Liam pushed the crazed wolf off him as his own eyes turned red. "Are you insane?!" He yelled. "Like I will touch someone else's mate!"
"You two seem pretty close." Raphael said, glaring heatedly.
"She is my friend!" Liam shot back. "I've been helping her contain her magic. And you better calm yourself down." He warned. "It's because of her that we have a peace treaty. I won't abandon her like you did."
This just threw the already enraged Alpha to the breaking point as he punched Liam again.
"Raphael!" Fangs yelled as he pulled his best friend back along with the help of some pack members.
Liam wiped the blood from his mouth and settled his gaze on Raphael. "You are going to regret this." He said before a smirk made it's way onto his face. "But you know, if she is willing, I'd be more than happy to oblige."
Raphael snarled and moved forward, but his pack kept a strong grip on him to keep him back.
Liam smirked. "If you want to start something, fine." He said with a casual shrug. "Consider the treaty broken. If any of your pack members step foot on my turf, we'll return them dead."
"Liam, he didnt mean it." Fangs said in attempt to diffuse the situation.
"He certainly did." The Alpha respnded. "I tried to explain but he's still too dumb to listen."
"Try explaining when he is calmer." The blue eyed werewolf pleaded. "You know how he gets."
"There is no more explaining." Liam said. "So from here on out, killing you will not be an accident." He said and gathered his pack members before finally leaving the bonfire altogether.
Fangs sighed and ran a hand through his shoulder length hair. "Nice." He muttered.
"You okay, man?" TJ asked, frowning at Raphael but his silence was answer enough. "If this is about Leah, I'm sorry.."
"Don't." Raphael shook his head, his energy spent.
"Have you lost your mind?" Castiel asked. "You acted out and dragged your entire pack down with you! You know that you don't have the numbers. So, congratulations, Raphael, you've certainly managed to ruin the peace." He said, clappingnhis hands in a sarcastic manner.
"I get that!" The Alpha yelled which made Fangs growl in warning.
"You better watch that tone, bro." The beta warned before his mate continued.
"No, I don't think you do! You acted like a child and now I'm going to give you what you need." The banshee said. "You need to get a grip or you are going to get us all killed. So, you better find a way to fix this or you won't have a pack at all."
Raphael clenched his jaw as he shifted his gaze to the ground, completely ashamed of himself and his temper.
"And you must be dumb if you think Leah would cheat on you." Castiel continued with the hard talk. "Especially with a peace treaty that she had created. She took over your duties. Now run this like an Alpha instead of a heartbroken boy!"
