The following morning, Leah lied in Raphael's arm, curling up into his side. "Hmm.." She hummed in content, which made Raphael stare down at her with his a smile of his own. "That was the best night's rest I got in ages." She said.
"I agree." The Italian chuckled softly.
"No nightmares or worrying about the about the monsters." She continued as she cuddled closer.
That made Raphael pause and he looked at her with an arched brow. "Nightmares?" He asked. "Monsters?"
The young witch sighed softly. "It's a long story." She began.
Leah's eyes flew open and all she was met with was darkness with a dim light shining in the distance.
She used all of her strength to pull herself up onto her feet before she attempted to walk towards the light but with each step that she took, the light drifted further and further away.
She tried to remember how in the hell she got here. All she remembered was falling asleep that night with no dreams.. It was just pitch black.
An eery feeling washed over her entire body before it had quickly vanished and that was when she woke up in this place..
Hell.
Or at least the beginning of it.
She desparately hoped to return home as the sounds of sinister hissing and growling began to surround her.
The werewolf frowned for the entirety of her explanation as she continued. "So he was me all along.. And there were a lot of horrifying creatures trapped there."
"I am so sorry, baby." He said.
"It's not your fault." She replied with a smile and lightly pecked his lips. "I'm going to make us some breakfast." She whispered and moved out of his arms.
She stood up from the bed and picked his t-shirt up from off the floor and put it on to cover her naked body.
She grabbed her raven locks into a bunch and tied it up into a messy bun, glancing over at Raphael, who watched her every move. She gave him a sweet smile before she walked out of the bedroom.
About 3 hours later, Leah found herself in her Biology class, drawing away on what was supposed to be her test paper.
As she drew, she appeared to be almost in a dazed-like state, like she wasn't mentally at school anymore.
But what she had sketched on her Biology test sheet..
Was terrifying to say the least.
Derek's phone cellphone rang from beside him as he sat working at his desk in his office. He glanced at the caller ID to find the school calling him.
He frowned to himself. The only time the school would get into contact with him was when it involved the twins.
He slid his thumb across the screen and answered the call. "Derek Rivera, speaking."
"Mr Rivera, it's TJ and Leah's Biology teacher." A male voice spoke on the receiving end.
"Is something wrong?" The warlock asked in concern.
"I'm calling about a disturbing drawing of your daughter's." The teacher replied.
"A drawing?" He questioned.
"Yes." The teacher confirmed. "Now normally, kids draw and doodle but its definitely not on their test papers."
Leah drawing on her test? That didn't sound like her but then again she had been having very graphic and disturbing nightmares over the past couple of days. She had gone through hell while being trapped, both literally and figuratively.
"I sincerely apologise about that." Derek said. "My daughter has been having very graphic nightmares over the past few nights."
"I will allow her to rewrite the test." The teacher announced.
"Thank you." The warlock said.
"But I would like to refer her to a psychologist with yours and your wife's permission."
"There will be no need for that, sir." Derek said. "I will handle it."
"Very well." The teacher replied. "Thank you for your time, Mr Rivera."
"Thank you for the call." He said and hung up.
This was much more serious than he thought.
