That afternoon, after making her way home from school, Leah stood in front of her house, staring across the road at Raphael's. She debated whether or not she should go over and talk to him. Would he even want to see her after what her possessed self almost did to him? Just the thought of her sacrificing him sickened her.

Letting out a heavy sigh, she willed herself to move and made her way across the street. She reached the front door and raised her hand to knock but hesitated. Maybe it wasn't a good idea..

No. She had to.

She closed her eyes for a second, taking in a deep breath before she finally knocked on the door.

It took a couple of seconds but the door had eventually opened, revealing Fangs.

He gave the witch a small smile but she didn't return it, only looking at him nervously. "Where is he?" She asked softly.

"In bed." The blue eyed werewolf replied and stepped aside, letting her inside.

Leah walked in and went straight towards the staircase, where she had climbed the stairs which put her on the house's second level. She then headed straight towards the master bedroom and entered, only to find Raphael sleeping peacefully in his bed.

She slowly approached the bed and took a seat next to him, frowning softly as her eyes scanned his features. He still appeared to be weak from all the wolfsbane that he had inhaled when she blew it into his face.

She looked at his hand that rested at his side and gently took it into hers, lacing their fingers together. "Hey.." She spoke softly. "I doubt you might remember this but.. Rafe, I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have been dragged into this. If I--"

"It's okay." A voice said softly, cutting her off before she could continue any further.

She looked up to see that Raphael was staring directly at her with a soft smile on his face.

"You're awake.." She breathed.

"I'm trying to shake it off." Raphael replied. "Rebuild my strength."

"This just makes it all the more difficult.." She whispered.

The Alpha frowned slightly. "What does?" He asked.

"I need you to forget about me." She said.

His eyes seemed to have hardened. "No."

"Raphael, I'm not asking." She said and retrieved her spellbook from her bag.

"Leah, no." He protested. "You are my mate. I can't live without you."

"You will.." She replied softly. "I found a spell."

Raphael shook his head as tears began to flood his eyes. "No.. Please." He pleaded.

"Raphael--"

"Don't do this, babygirl." He said.

Leah silently raised the hand that she held and brought it up to her lips where she softly kissed the back of it while he stared at her. "Leah, please." He begged.

"I want to protect you." She said.

"I don't need it." He replied. "I need you."

With tears in her own eyes, Leah had let out a shakey breath and dropped her spellbook to the floor before she moved next to him. She climbed under the blankets and wrapped her arms around his waist, cuddling up next to him as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I missed you." She whispered.

"I missed you too." He replied, pressing a kiss to the top of his head.

She moved her head off his chest and looked up at him, her eyes full of guilt. "I'm sorry that he did this to you.. That I did that to you.." She apologised.

"Don't be." Raphael said. "It wasn't your fault and if anyone is to blame, it's him."

Silence fell over them as Leah rested her head on his chest again, staring at their joined hands. "Raphael, can I ask you something?" She asked softly, playing with his hand.

"Yes." He said.

"How did you not know that it was me?" She asked and looked up at him again.

The werewolf sighed softly. "Part of me did." He replied softly. "But the other part.. The other part pushed it aside. I just wanted you back in my life after I had screwed up so badly.."

She stared at him before she had leaned in, pecking his lips lightly which made him look at her with a little hint of surprise.

"I admit that part was stupid." He added softly.

"I don't think so." She said which made him arch an eyebrow at her in question. "I'm glad that you wanted me back."

"I've always wanted you back, Leah." He said and the two met each other halfway for a passionate kiss, one in which they poured every and all emotion into until Leah pulled away slightly.

"Do you think I can turn your heart monitor off?" She asked.

"I'm sure you can." He replied.

"Good." She said and immediately switched off the maching standing beside his bed. "I don't want to be disturbed when I do this.." She added and leaned in once again, this time towards his neck.

She kissed his neck which made the wolf groan softly. She brought his body closer to hers as she began to kiss every single inch that she could reach while his hands roamed her body.
