Camila stepped into the bedroom and held up a glass vile in her hand. "I have the cure." She announced.
"How convenient." Derek said sarcastically and stood up, making his way towards her.
But Camila pulled the vile back with a smirk. "Oh no, you won't get this until he gets the device." She said.
The warlock clenched his jaw and balled his hands into fists. "Not a chance in hell." He replied.
"Hello family!" Lucifer said cheerfully as he entered, making his way past Derek and towards the bed where Leah lied.
He lifted the blanket that had been placed over her and had a look at the teenage witch. "Oh, dear. She doesn't look well at all." He said mockingly. "Although I quite like her like this. It's nice and quiet."
Amelia glared at him from her position beside her daughter which made the Prince of Darkness smirk at her. "Hello, sweet Amelia." He greeted before returning his gaze to the warlock.
"Oh, I suggest getting the heartbreak kit out." He suggested.
"What are you on about?" Derek demanded.
Lucifer smirked. "Well, we certainly have to wait for the man of the hour to arrive." He said.
It was in that moment that Raphael entered the room, with Breana trailing behind him, but as the werewolf's gaze landed on the Dark Lord, his eyes immediately changed from brown to red.
"Just the person I wanted to see." He said with a growl.
"You sure know how to make an entrance." Lucifer mused as he sauntered his way over to Camila and took the vile from her hands. "Now, give me what I want.
"And remember the agreement." A new voice sounded throughout the room before all eyes landed on David Torricelli as he entered.
He went straight towards Camila with a smile on his face. "Good job, my love." He said with pride and pressed a kiss to her cheek.
"Che imbroglione figlio di puttana!" Raphael seethed at the sight of his father with another woman.
"Uh, peasants, we have no time for family drama even though I love me some good drama.." Lucifer chuckled and gave a casual shrug. "But if this is the route we're heading down already, I guess no one gets the cure."
"Hand it over." Derek demanded.
"Give me the device or she won't be the only dead body." The Dark Lord responded. "With all the back and forth, we're just wasting time. Whoo, I can smell her body decomposing already."
Derek glared at him before his eyes fell on the vile in his hand.
"Don't get any smart ideas." Lucifer warned. "I'll have David rip her throat out."
Raphael snarled ferociously. "He can try." He said.
"Breana." The warlock said as he glared at the Prince of Darkness. "Hand the device over."
The angel obliged and handed the box over to him which made Lucifer smirk.
"Ah, now was that so hard, Derek?" Lucifer taunted.
"Cure first." Derek said and held up the device."You hand it over, you get the device."
"You act like someone with time on their hands. Bargaining won't stop her from rotting away." Lucifer replied. "I, on the other hand, have plenty of time."
Raphael had, had enough of the back and forth, and lunged forward towards Lucifer. He was, however, brought to his knees in excrutiating pain by Camila.
"Down, dog." The witch smirked as she worsened his pain by each passing second, enjoying the sounds of his pain filled yells.
"Big mistake." Lucifer said and began to squeeze the vile.
Breana unfolded her wings, moving forward and forced his hand open but she too was taken down, this time by David.
He growled and clawed her across the face, down her neck and all the way down to her arm, the angel's screams filling the room.
Derek quickly used his magic to throw David aside to prevent him from doing anymore harm as well as Camila, releasing Raphael from her clutches and relieving him from pain.
But that was until he noticed something on the floor.
Ash.
It appeared as if Lucifer noticed it too. "Congratulations." He said, making the warlock shift his gaze to him.
The Prince of Darkness met his gaze. "I'll send flowers for the funeral." He said and flipped the vile in his hand.
All eyes fell onto Leah as she turned grey, not one of them noticing Lucifer, David and Camila's escape with the device.
Raphael stared on in shock as the tears fell freely. He sat on his knees and clutched in chest in agony as he let out a choked sob.
It felt as if someone had driven a knife through his chest, piercing his heart and would not stop twisting it.
At this point the werewolf couldn't be bothered about his heart because his heart outside of his chest had died before his eyes and there was nothing he could do to bring her back..
He let out a sorrowful yell and banged his fist on the floor as he broke down. He should've fought harder..
He should have..
As for Derek, time seemed to have paused for a second but it wasn't until he heard Raphael's pain filled yells and sobs that he came out of his state of shock.
He ran over towards the bed where Amelia held their daughter in her arms as she sobbed bitterly.
"No.." He whispered. "No.." Tears began to roll down his cheeks.
He then met his wife's gaze only to find her glaring coldly at him.
"Amelia.." He began slowly.
"You could have fought after." She said with venom. "You could have prevented this!"
The warlock stared at his wife with immense guilt when all of a sudden he felt something get shoved to his chest.
He looked down to see Amelia's wedding ring and quickly looked up to her cold gaze.
"Now, I have to bury my daughter." She said.
"Amelia--"
"Get out." The brunette demanded and when Derek made no move, that was when she lost it.
"I said get out!" She screamed and banged her fists against his chest, pushing him towards the door. "Don't come anywhere near my baby! Get out!"
Derek didn't even stop her advances and allowed her to push him out of the bedroom. He stood in the doorway and silently watched his wife make her way back to their daughter, taking her into her arms.
His heart shattered at the sight..
Leah was dead..
And it was all his fault.
