Smut:some smut

At this point I might as well call myself a vampirexchild(the author of the book) fan.
So this story is about mermaids, and before you cringe or hate the idea of it, hear me out. It's not the typical mermaid story and it's not the cringy type of mermaid story either(I mean, let's be real, no vampirexchild story is cringy).
Gerard has always had a deep love and appreciation for the sea. Little does he know, there's a reason for that and when he finds a beautiful, naked man with memory loss on the beach one day after the storm, he's going to start discovering things about the world he never thought possible, like the existence of mermaids.
Overall the writing style was immaculate, just like every book of this author. Everything was described in a way that made you fall in love with the sea, and that's coming from a person that avoids going to the beach/sea most of the time. The author always writes in a way that makes it seem she is actually feeling all tjose things she's describing and that helps pass on the same feelings to the readers.
Frank in the story was literally adorable and I need him in a real life version while Gerard was just *explodes*. Ya know what i mean?
Now, there were some points where I got a bit bored of reading some very similar descriptions over and over again and sometimes I'd pause reading in the middle of a chapter and continue a day or two later.
The most exciting part of the story, the main 'conflict', was very interesting but there was no build up to it which kind of took away a part of its importance.
What I love about this author most is the fact that her stories don't feel like fan fiction. They feel like I'm reading an actual book from an author that just happens to use the names of the guys in MCR, which I like very very much.

Link for it in the comments.

(no seriously though, someday I may just start talking about how great vampirexchild is out of the blue. Don't be surprised. It's just my inner fangirl making an appearance)
