Smut:so much smut you'll get sick of it

Frank is a troubled teenager. Scared of the future and life. Gerard is a middle aged eccentric artist who helps Frank find himself through art.

I liked it. I liked the idea and the concept of it. It's the story that really got me into art and painting and all that. It urged me to be creative and unique. To create and destroy only to create again. It's beautiful in that sense.

BUT
the age difference really creeped me out. I don't think see it exactly as pedophilia but it's not normal either so I don't know how to feel about it.

At first it was really slow and dragging and all I wanted was for some action to take place and then they actually started fucking each other or whatever and they were going on it like bunnies on crack and it was the first story where I was really happy for smut to end.
I found loads of great meanings and 'lessons' through that fic and, as I said before, it's the reason why I appreciate art more deeply than before.
It is veeeeeeery long and the sequel is shit(if I were to rate the sequel it would probably be 2/10 and that's being generous)
Some things made me relate to the character Frank had in the story and I think that's one of the main reasons why I still like it even though I find so many things wrong with it.
It is very descriptive so if you like that, then you will probably like it. How it is written it makes it seem normal and like it's not pedophilia in the slightest and that weirds me out.
This one is also a classic fic that most people have read or are looking for so I think it's a must read in frerard fanfic standards.
I wouldn't recommend to anyone who doesn't like smut though. The smut is probably 75% of the story and some of it is actually important to the plot line.
It's on wattpad but it's hard to find(I have a reading list with it in it so you can find it there) and I think it's also on lj and ao3.
