A Splitting Of The Mind

Smut:very little smut but the scenes kind of play a part in the plot so I'm not sure if it can be skipped.

This is about Gerard being in a mental asylum because of schizophrenia and Frank being admitted by his parents for ptsd, depression and anxiety.

Keep in mind that I haven't read this story in years so I don't remember everything that happened and might say some things wrong and my opinion may have been diferent if I had read it recently but I'm just really not in the mood to do so.
I really like it. It's very interesting and has a unique plot that not many fan fictions have. It is a bit slow at first but then everything happens way too fast so that's something I didn't like. Some things were left unanswered and I still think about them some days but it was overall very nice.
It does have some trigger warnings so don't read it if you think it will mess with you or read it carefully.
There are a few things that I didn't really like but it was still pretty good. Some say it glorifies mental illnesses but I don't really see it that way but you can read it yourself to make up your own opinion on it.
This fic is a classic. I think everyone knows it by now or has at least heard of it. Everyone references it so if you want to be able to understand the jokes(not really jokes, they're pretty sad) people make, then you should probably read it, if you haven't already.
It's on wattpad and I'm pretty sure on ao3 too.
