Smut:some smut but nothing much.
Gerard is an art school student and Frank is the new naked model the students have to make art out of.
I liked it a lot but tbh the plot was a bit hard to follow sometimes. I guess it's the style of the fic because everything was sudden and many things just hit you out of nowhere, which I both liked and disliked at the same time.
Gerard I felt like he was very relatable. He was very clearly suffering from mental illnesses but the fic didn't seem like it was glorifying it. It showed it exactly how it is, in my opinion.
Frank was different than how he is in most fics so that was refreshing and he had some great personality traits that I liked, like patience and supportiveness(is that a word? I don't think so but anyway moving on)
As I mentioned, the story does deal with mental illnesses but it's not the usual 'they fall in love and everything is perfect' or 'he cries all day long and Frank is there to save the day'. From my experience, those problems are dealt with pretty accurately. It's awkward, weird, Gerard has both hughs and lows, sometimes he is selfish without realising and I feel like that's a huge thing for people who deal with these things etc.
