Smut:little smut. Nothing that can't be skipped.

I just finished reading this for a second time so now I'm ready to write down my thoughts on it.
Gerard is the scary guy in school that everyone thinks is a murderer and Frank is dared by his friends to make Gerard fall in love with him. We can all see where this is going right?
Love the storyline, love the characters with all their flaws and weaknesses since that's what makes them real and generally everything about this fic is pretty great.
I like the style of writing but some things felt out of place. For the most part, the fic was written in a simple way that you'd find in a teen romance book-which I guess is what it is, but then there'd be some parts that were way too poetic to fit in. Were those parts great? Yes. Did I take screenshots so I can revisit them when I feel like reading poetry-like writing? Yep. Were they out of place and did they stand out in a weird way compared to the simpistic writing style of the rest of the fic? Also yes. It didn't bother me too much, it's just something that stuck with me for some reason.
As I said, I've already read it two times so you can tell that I liked it. It's just small bits here and there, some grammatical errors, a few parts that confused me a bit and the poetic thing I mentined before, that are stopping me from being literally obsessed with the story.
Oh a, not really story-related, thing the author did that I loved is they'd put fan art people did at the end of each chapter. I found that very sweet and nice considering the fic is pretty big by now so this was definitely helpful to smaller artists.
This fic is what I call a frerard classic. You'll see so many comments in other stories referencing that story, that's how I found about it too, so you should definitely read it even if it's only to be able to understand the references.

Link to the story is in the comments so you can copy it easily.
