The New Girl

chapter 12

Lucy's pov

*flashback continuing*

it was after dinner, and we was getting ready for the party, we was supposed to meet them at the party but I think Ellie had managed to get one of the guys to meet us at the edge of the forest, a few seconds away from where the party is supposed to be, I had changed in to some ripped jeans and a plaid top, and Toni was wearing similar clothes but she put on a crop top on underneath, so she could have her plaid top unbuttoned, and Ellie had brought a dress which she put on for the party, "honestly you planned this all along didn't you" Toni said to Ellie noticing she was wearing a dress, Ellie nodded in response, we was finally ready and started heading to the place Ellie had arranged for the boys to meet us.

To be honest I didn't really want to go but I wanted to be with Toni, and she wanted to go maybe I might be able to convince her to come away from the party for a while, I smiled to my thought when I felt a hand intertwined with mine, I look up to see Toni walking beside me, "hey maybe you would want to sneak away at some point of the party" she said smiling I smiled back it was like she read my mind, "yeah if that means I get some alone time with you" I said smiling even harder, we got to where the guys was waiting, she let go of my hand my smile faulted from the lack of connection, but I understood why she wasn't out and she wasn't ready to be out yet and I'm kind of in the same boat, but I think because of her I am ready.

"hey laddies you took your time, do you have the speaker?" one of the guys said he looked to Ellie who then looked to Toni, she tossed her speaker over to the guy who caught it with ease, "thank you, you're a life saver, the names Sam or you can call me Sammy, either works" he said smiling and looking at each of us, I moved closer to Toni not wanting any attention on me from any of the guys, he started to walk in to the forest and we walked behind him following, "hey I have a request as it's my speaker I want one song" Toni shouted to the front of the line, "hey yea no problem tell me what it is when we get there and it can be the first one..." he shouted back "cool my dude" Toni had put her hand back in my hand as we walked through the forest, we could see a fire lit in the distance I guess we were getting close to where the party was being held.

I had sat on one of the logs that was set around the side as I watched a loads of other kids talking to themselves and I looked to see Toni playing with her speaker, and then suddenly music blasted through the trees she had put on her song choice I couldn't tell what it was but it sound alright, I watched as she went and got some drinks after she had sorted the speaker out, some guy had sat beside me but I didn't care I had my eyes on the person I cared about, she was getting me a drink "hey my names ben what's your name?" he asked I turned to him "its Lucy" I said being polite he scooted closer, and I moved back getting closer to the edge of the log by this point, I turned away back to watching Toni walk through the crowed being stopped every now and then just talking to people every so often she stops and stares at me and smile, her smile was the best thing I had ever seen.

"do you want a drink?" Ben asked me getting closer, I tried pushing him away, "dude I'm not interested, and anyway someone else is already getting me a drink" I said truthfully, but he didn't take it in, he got closer putting his hand on my leg I tried to push it of but his hand just got tighter around my leg, "can you not please, your hurting my leg" and then his hand was moved from my leg I looked up to see Toni standing beside me she had pushed him of me and he fell to the floor, "jeez what was that for?" he said angerly on the floor trying to get up, "I believe the girl said no and that she wasn't interested dude..." Toni said with anger coming from her lips, I stood up taking her hand in mine trying to drag her away "Toni..." I tried pulling her again "come on let's go..." I said pulling on her arm now, "what is this a pair of lesbians jeez" he said as he brushed of the dirt, but before he could finish Toni punched him square on the nose, "and what if we are what's it got to do with you?" she said leaning over him, "she said no she didn't want you on her, if I see you anywhere near her I will knock you on your ass again" she said turning around to see that a crowed had formed up.

I took her hand and dragged her away from the commotion, we walked away from the party and deeper into the woods, we walked to an open grass area, I stopped when I knew we were away from people's views and no one would come this far in the dark, I turned around and planted a kiss on her lips before she could speak, my arms wrapped around her neck as her arms wrapped around my waist pulling us closer to each other, I felt her tongue against my bottom lip begging for entrance, I parted my lips allowing entrance our tongues battled for dominance, I let hers win with our tongues moving against each other's rhythmically, we parted for a breath of air I placed my hand on her cheek, "thank you for that" I said with a smile on my face she pulled away looking at me, "no need to thank me, I would do it again to know that you are safe and okay" she said with a smile on her lips, she moved closer and planted her lips on mine, our lips moved together like they were dancing to a beat, she lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around her waist as she wrapped her arms round my back, we pulled apart so we could breath, my eyes wondered down her opened button up showing off her toned abs, "do you like what you see?" my head shot up to see her smirking at me for staring too long, I felt my cheeks get hot from embarrassment, I put my head in the crook of her neck, so she couldn't see that I was embarrassed I felt her chuckle .

She put me down slowly, my feet was back on the ground, she had stepped away from me I looked up to see her laying on the ground looking up, her arms where behind her head as she stared into the starry night, I laid down beside her and stared into the sky the stars where bright, but I couldn't help but enjoy this moment just us two and nothing else, she got her phone out and played some music it sounded like girl in red, it was calming and peaceful, I scooted closer and she wrapped her arm around me, it was nice nothing else needed to happen tonight just me and her and the music, made this day the best day of my life.
