Toni's pov

We was all sat at the table eating and talking about how our days went, it was nice to actually sit at a table and have a family dinner, my family hasn't done that in a while because dad is working all the time, without realising I dip my head thinking about it bums me out, I didn't realise how long I had my head dip that I felt a light kick under the table I look up to see Lucy looking at me worried, "hey ani are you okay?" she asks, I look to everyone around the table looking at me, "yeah erm kind of..." I clear my throat, "it's stupid really..." I say and felt a hand on mine and look to see Lucy's dad smiling, "nothings stupid in this house" he said giving me reassurance that I wouldn't be judged, "well in my house we don't do this, because my dad's working all the time, so we erm... never really do family dinners" I say looking towards him, he smiles at me and places his other hand on top of his hand.

"oh Toni why would you think that's stupid cause it's not, and you know what, you are always welcome at this table" he said smiling at me, I felt my eyes start to tear up no one's ever invited me to their family dinner nights, I turn to Lucy see her smiling at me, I turn back to her dad, "thank you that means a lot sir... I erm... mean George" I say and he smiles at me, we go back to finishing our dinners, we go on about how me and Brett have made captains, which he brought up not me, it felt like a family, and I was happy being excepted into it, we finish up or food, and I help Lucy clear the table, we walk into the kitchen and she puts the plates in the sink and take mine and put them in there to, she then turns to me smiling she wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap my arms around her waist, "so it looks like my dad and eve like you" she says smiling, I smile back "I guess it's just Brett and Suzie now I have to win over" I say jokingly we laugh, and then she plants a kiss on me, she pulls back smiling.

We head up to her room, where we could get some privacy, we lay on her bed cuddled up, "so what are you going to do about Roxy?" I hear her say, I hadn't really thought about it but to be honest I don't care as long as I have Lucy with me, "I don't know, but I know I'm going to ruin her plans" I say she turns her head to look up to me, "what do you mean by that?" she asks I look down at her and smile, "well with you by myself nothing could bring me down, and either that means her outing me to everyone including my parents or I do it before her" I say placing a kiss on her forehead, she looks to me with a smile, "does this mean you're going to come out to you parents?" she asks with a curious look, I smile and nod, "yeah but I have a plan, what's the time?" I turn to grab my phone, "its 9:30" she says I get my messages up and create a group chat.

Ani created a group with James, Ellie, Tricia, and Lucy...

Ani named it the brady bunch

Ani: okay guys I need to talk to you all meet at the cafe

Ellie: why is Tricia in this won't she tell Roxy

Tricia: I won't if this is about my sister, but I might about u

Ellie: ... ...

Ani: right guys stop text fighting and just meet me and Lucy at the café usual booth

James: is food included

Ani: yes, fine James

James: okay I am leaving now

Ellie: same

Tricia: what is this about????

Lucy: we will let you know when we get there

Ani: just turn up

Ellie: omg omg omg omg omg

Ani: what

Ellie: is it finally happening!!!! Please tell me its finally happening?!?!

Ani: shut up and just get to the café!!!
