chapter 26

Lucy pov

It was around 12 when Ellie and James left to go and speak to David, I had to go and get a change of clothes, I walked to Toni's room where she was getting dressed, I knocked to make sure she wasn't in the shower, "come in" I open it to see her sitting on the bed in a towel with her wet hair down her side, she turned and saw me, "you didn't have to knock, you know that right" she said getting up from her bed, walking over to me I froze in place with the way she was walking to me, she stopped in front of me and smirked at how I stared at her body, she leaned to my ear "like what you see" she said, I swallowed a lump in my throat and stuttered out a "yes", I felt her hot breath against my neck, I leaned my head back giving her excess, I felt her lips against my neck, I hum out in pleasure as she moves smoothly down my neck, she pushes the door shut not breaking contact, I start to push her towards her bed, she falls to the bed as I straddle her placing a leg each side, when there was a knock at the door.

"hey Toni, Lucy are yeah decent" we hear Tricia shout from the door, I collapse into her neck laughing, "yes Tricia we are decent" Toni said laughing as well, as she wraps her arms around me, I hear the door open "I'm sorry I wanted to get some clothes as I'm going to get ready round Roxy's" I hear her say I lift my head and look into Toni's eyes she smiles at me, "that reminds me, I need to go home and get a change of clothes" I said getting up from Toni's lap, she held my hand and smiled, "okay, I'll get dressed and we can go get you some clothes" she said as she got up from her bed, she let go of my hand and I sat on her bed as she got a pair of ripped jeans out of her draw and floral shirt from her cupboard, she turned back to me and smiled, I watched her walk to the toilet she closed the door behind her, I watched Tricia pack the rest of her bag, as I laid down she came over to the bed and laid beside me, "it's going to be fun tonight" she said, I turned to her and smiled, "yeah, let's hope it will be better than the last party I went to" she turned on her side and looked at me with a curious look.

"it was at summer camp, and this guy tried to hit on me and he wasn't getting the word no, but thank god that Toni was there, because her wouldn't have left me alone" I said, she took my hand in hers and smiled, "we will all make sure that never happens again, so if Toni wonders off and you can't find her come find me, okay" she said as Toni walked back into the room, she looked confused and walked over to the bed, she knelt on the side I was on, "what's going on?" she said looking between us curiously, "nothing, she just told me about the camp party" Tricia said, I smiled to her then looked to Toni, her face dropped, I let go off Tricia's hand and placed it on Toni's, "hey I'm okay, I was okay because you was there" I said as she looked up to me and smiled, I placed a kiss on her lips and smiled against her lips, we broke away "you look superhot by the way" I whispered so only she could hear it.

She got up from where she was and held out her hand, "come on, let's get you home so you can get some clothes" she said, I took her hand with ease and followed her down stairs to the kitchen, she picked up her bag and keys and I followed her to her car, we got in she started it up and her phone connected playing 'redbone by childish Gambino', she reversed out and headed to what I thought was my house but she missed the turning, she put her hand in mine as she carried on driving focusing on the road, "I thought we could get some lunch" she said, we drove into town and she pulled up on the side of the road, she turned her engine off and got out the car she ran to my side and helped me out, she picked up her bag and locked the car up, we walked down the street for a bit until we came to a quite café, we went in and ordered two fries and burgers, we sat she did her levels and chatted for a bit, when we realised it was 2 in the afternoon, she paid the bill and we walked back to the car, she held the door open for me and closed when I was in, she walked around to her side and got the car started.

She drove to my house so I could get ready for the party, "hey are you sure, you can get ready at mine" she said with a smile as we was parked outside my house, I turned to her and smiled, I placed my hand on her cheek, "I want to get ready here and surprise you..." I said with a smile, she smiled back, I leaned in and placed a kiss on her lips, "I've got to go and get ready, I'll see you back at yours around about 8" I said with a smile, we got out of the car and she walked me to the door, she pulls me into one more kiss and then lets me go, I smile and watch her walk to her car and drive off, I walk into the house and bombarded by two little girls hugging me to death, "hey guys a guess you missed me" I said as eve and Suzie let go of me, they both laughed as they ran back to where they came from, "hey lulu, had enough of her already?" I hear Brett say as he walks out of the living room and into the kitchen, "no I just came to get ready for the party she's having" I say as I follow him into the kitchen, I jump up onto the work top and watch as he pulls open the fridge.

"pass me an orange" I say, as he bends down to the draw, he tosses me one as he shuts the door, "so are you going" I ask him, he nods his head as he bites into an apple, "yeah Roxy wants to go, so she's making me" he says with a fake smile, I laugh at his reaction, "why don't you break up with her already" I say, he looks to me hurt as if I had said something wrong, "when are you going to tell Toni?" he said looking at me "I uhm don't know what you mean" I said with concern growing in me, he shook his head "look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." I started to say but he cut me off, "no your right, I'm sorry, I just haven't had anyone actually say it to me" he said looking defeated, I walk over to him and place my hand on his shoulder, "it's just you haven't been that happy lately" I said he looked up to me, I wrapped him in a hug at first he was stiff but he relaxed into the hug, "I'm not... well, I'm not with her but when I'm with..." he pulls away before finishing his words, I look up to him curiously "with who..." I ask he looks down and his face lights up and then his head shoots up, "I can't say" he said with a smile on his face, I stepped back and looked at him I know I can't push too hard or he would just shut up and deny everything, "okay well I just want you to be happy" I said giving his hand a squeeze he smiles at me and laughs, "don't worry I will be" he said as he walked out of the kitchen, I followed him out.

I went upstairs to my room, I shut the door behind me I collapsed on my bed, I looked up to the ceiling smiling to the thoughts from yesterday, I drifted off to sleep having the thoughts of what had happened yesterday, I woke up to the sound of my phone going off, I picked it up and realised it was an hour until the party, I saw the name caller was Toni, I answered the phone, "hey babe..." I answered, "hey, did I wake you?" she said her voice was so sweet, I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, "no babe, how's the planning going?" I ask I hear a load of noise in the background "James that doesn't go there jeez what have I told you..." I hear Ellie say in the background, I hear Toni sigh, "that bad huh" I say she laughs, "how could you tell" she says "they are both getting on my last nerve and I miss you" she finished saying "I miss you too baby, but it won't be long until the party which I have to go and get ready for" I said I heard her sigh, "okay lulu, I'll let you go" she said I couldn't help but smile, " I've said only my family can call me that" she laughed through the phone and I couldn't help but smile, "well I think I should get a free pass" she said, I laughed.

I put her on speaker phone and placed her on the side of the bathroom so I could jump in the shower, "oh snap, are you getting in the shower?" she asked I laughed at her reaction "yes I'm now getting in" I said as I started to take my clothes off, I still had her jumper, "you do know your never getting your hoodie back right" I said I heard her laugh as I got in the shower, "well then I'm going to need one of yours in return" she said, smiled to the thought of her wearing nothing but my jumper, I put my head under the water to wash away the thought, "hey you still there" I hear her say, I pull my head back, "yeah I was just washing my hair" I say she laughs at my words, "okay well I've got to go and get ready myself and yell at James for something so I'll see you later" she says, "okay see you later babe" I carry on in the shower as she hangs up the phone.
