Closer Than You Think

3rd POV
"Don't go!" Peter cried as he clung on to Tony's leg like his life depended on it.

"Peter," Tony said with a sigh, he was making it hard for them to leave.

"Noooooooo! Stay with me!" Peter yelled with tears coming out of his eyes.

"Peter, we'll have fun together. They'll be back soon," Pepper said trying to pry her son of Tony's leg.

The team had an important mission to go on, Peter thought that they were going on a business trip though, but he didn't want them to leave.

"Peter we'll come back," Tony said wishing that they could stay.

"All of you are leaving me!" Peter accused.

"No we're not," Steve said sadly.

"We'll be back soon," Clint promised.

"You won't even miss us while we're gone," Bruce tried assuring him.

"You'll have lots of fun with mommy right?" Scott asked.

"I want everyone here," Peter said angrily.

''When we get back, we'll spend lots of time with you," Thor tried convincing him.

"And we'll bring you back your favorite chocolate,'' Sam said.

" I don't want chocolate! I want all of you!" Peter exclaimed.

"We want to stay with you too Peter, we really do," Wanda said with a sigh.

"Why do all of you have to go?" Peter asked angrily.

"Its an important meeting that we can't miss," Natasha said.

"Well I don't love you anymore!" Peter huffed.

"Peter, that's not nice and it's not true either," Pepper said.

"You don't love us anymore? Even me?" Natasha asked with a sad expression.

"Especially you," Peter said and rolled his eyes. Natasha always gave him what he wanted so why couldn't she get them to stay now!

"Then why are you still clinging on to my leg if you don't love me?" Tony asked with a smirk.

"I hate all of you! You're stupid buttheads!" Peter yelled angrily.

"Peter, I understand that you're sad that they're going on a trip but that doesn't mean that you can be rude," Pepper said sternly and Peter started crying.

Tony lifted him into his arms and wiped away his tears.

"I'm sorry bud, we'll come back soon, be good for mommy okay?" Tony asked and kissed his cheek.

Peter wrapped his  little arms around Tony's neck and rested his head on his shoulder.

"Okay daddy, I'm sorry, I love all of you," Peter said sadly.

Tony rubbed his back," I know monkey, we all love you too, never forget that," Tony said.

Peter went to Natasha when Tony put him down.

"Sorry Aunt Nat, I love you a lot! Peter bad! " he said and looked down sadly.

"You're not bad honey, I'll miss you so much, but we'll have fun when we get back!" She said enthusiastically.

Peter gave all of them hugs and kisses and they left for the mission with heavy hearts. They hated leaving Peter especially when he cried so much.

Peter went to his room sadly and took a piece of paper and some crayons.
