3rd POV

It had been about two months since Peter baked cookies with Tony and Pepper instead of working in the lab for his internship. They had grown a lot closer to each other, when Peter was there, they felt like their family was complete again, well as complete as it could be without the rest of the team.

Peter had managed to keep his identity as Spiderman a secret from Tony even though they were a lot closer. It's not that he didn't trust him, he just felt like if Tony found out it was him he would watch over him like a hawk when he went out as spiderman, as if Tony already didn't. He never let Peter take care of big things.

But when he found out that the vulture was still on the loose and he knew where he would be, he had to intervene.

Peter was in trouble again, he wanted to stop the vulture guy from getting the weapons but instead he was holding two halves of a ship together with his webs trying to not let his arms get ripped out in the process.

Luckily Tony arrived in time to save his ass, again. Peter had tried warning him about the guys but he felt like Tony had ignored his warning.

"What the hell were you thinking? I specifically told you to stay away from this!" Tony said angrily.

Peter was too upset to remember to turn on the voice modifier.

"I did stay away from it! But you weren't doing anything about it!" Peter complained.

Tony immediately recognized his voice.

"Peter?" Tony asked.

"Fuck, well this is just great," Peter and pulled his mask off. No one would see them on the roof and it didn't make sense lying to Tony at that point in time. He already figured out.

''Peter you've been doing this the whole time and you didn't tell me? Do you not trust me?" Tony asked feleing a bit hurt.

"No Mr. Stark, I do trust you, it's just that," Peter trailed off.

"Just what?" Tony asked.

"You tend to be overprotective at times, and we grew a lot closer these past few weeks. You would have made me stop being spiderman if I told you," Peter said with a sigh.

"I can't stop you, believe me if I could have, I would. I don't have a problem with you being a friendly neighborhood superhero but you want to get involved in bigger things like this. Things that you can't handle despite how much you say you can handle it," Tony said.

"None of this would have happened if you had just listened to me!" Peter exclaimed angrily.

"I did listen kid! Who do you think called the FBI, that guy would have been arrested if it wasn't for you," Tony said, he stepped out of the suit and started glaring at the kid.

"Is everyone okay?" Peter asked with a sigh. He really messed up this time.

"No thanks to you," Tony said, he knew that he was being harsh but Peter had to understand the severity of the situation.

"I'm sorry," Peter said guiltily.

"I told you before kid! Sorry doesn't cut it all the time! Do you have any idea what would have happened if I hadn't gotten here in time? I kept telling you to stay away fromt his but your disobedience could have cost those people their lives and that's on you, and if something happened to you, I would feel like that's on me and believe me when I say I don't need that on my conscience," Tony said angrily.

He was fuming, if something had happened to Peter it would have felt like losing his son all over again.

"It won't happen again," Peter said in a small voice, he felt really guilty and he couldn't even look at Tony to see the disappointed look on his face. He really wanted Tony to hug him instead of yell at him, he realized just how bad he messed up.
