3rd POV

Tony and Peter had been working in the lab for a while. Peter started off being really nervous because Tony was a genius, he didn't want to say anything stupid and make a fool in front of himself.

Tony sensed that he was on edge and did his best to make Peter comfortable. Eventually Peter forgot about being nervous and he was having a good time in the lab with Tony, they talked while they worked and Peter felt even more guilty for all the time he hated Tony.

He was such a pure ray of sunshine in the miserable world, contrary to what the media said about him.

Peter's phone started ringing and he facepalmed. "Good job Peter, your phone started ringing on the first day, great impression."

"Mr. Parker, would kindly turn your phone off, it is disrupting me , and I honestly thought that you would have been more professional than to leave the volume on, especially on your first day of work," Tony said in a stern voice.

"I'm so sorry Mr. Stark, it won't happen again, I'll turn it off," Peter said panickedly. He messed up on his first day.

Tony started laughing and Peter gave him a confused look," I'm just messing with you kid chill,"

"Mr. Stark!" Peter said dramatically and threw an eraser at him. His shoulders relaxed immediately, Tony was such a joker, Peter almost had a heart attack!

Tony pouted as the eraser hit his head,''Oww,"

Peter childishly stuck his tongue out at him.

"Aren't you going to pick up your phone?" Tony asked, his phone was still ringing.

"Its probably not important," Peter said.

"Answer it, it's probably your mom or something, you know how moms are when they get worried," Tony joked.

"I, um I don't have a mom, my parents died,'' Peter admitted and Tony wanted to slap himself.

"I'm sorry kid, I-," Tony said and Peter cut him off.

"Its fine Mr. Stark, you didnt know, I'll just answer my phone now,'' Peter said.

He took up his phone and saw Ned's name flashing across the screen and he accepted the call.

"Hello," Peter said.

"Dude you took so long to answer how was the internship?" Ned asked.

"I'm at the internship right now," Peter said and facepalmed.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry dude, hang up before you get caught and they fire you!" Ned yelled.

"That won't happen Ned, did you have anything else to tell me?" Peter asked.

''Well, I guess that you didn't check your messages, Liz is hosting a party tonight and I wanted to know of you were going." Ned said.

''Really?" Peter asked.

"Yeah it was a last minute thing, it starts in like two hours, we can still make it," Ned said.

"I don't know Ned. I'm still at the internship and would she even care if I'm there?" Peter asked rhetorically.

"Dude we have to go to this party, or else we'll be the only two nerds who didn't go call me as soon as you're done with the internship," Ned said.

"I'll have to ask May first, Ned, I don't know," Peter said.

"I already asked her, she agreed, she even offered to drive us, come on dude pleasee,'' Ned said.

Peter sighed,"Fine,"
