I don't remember much of that night. After Isaac left me alone, I wiped the tears from my eyes and composed myself, before returning to the party and drinking absolutely everything in sight.

Next thing I know, I'm back in my bed in my dorm, with a glass of water and an aspirin on my bedside table along with a note that reads "For you, dumbass" in Pippa's handwriting.

I threw the aspirin down my sore throat and sighed.

"So, how is this going to work?" Questioned Pippa from her bed.

"What?" I asked, my voice hoarse and croaky.

"Do you want to know what you did last night or are we pretending it never happened?"

"That depends," I winced. "How bad was it?"

"I'm surprised you're alive." She laughed. "I lost count after you had your 20th shot."

"Oh, god!" I groaned, throwing my head in my hands.

"But don't worry, I was with you the whole time. There was no stripping, no ugly dancing, and no hook-ups." Except for Isaac, I thought. But this was good, if Pippa didn't know, I didn't have to explain myself. "I can't say the same for me."

I raised my eyebrow, requesting an explanation. Anything to distract myself. "Cruise. After we dropped you off, we hooked-up."

"Ew! While I was in the room?!" I screeched.

"No, In the showers."

"How is that any better?!" I countered. "I shower in those showers."

"Well, then just avoid the second one from the left and you'll be fine. Anyway, so you're okay with me hooking up with Cruise?"

"Yeah, I mean, why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know, it's just, he liked you when you first moved here and you kissed once. I was kinda caught up in the moment last night but afterwards I couldn't help but feel kinda guilty for some reason."

"That kiss was just truth or dare. It didn't mean anything." I rambled.

"Oh, I had one more thing I had to ask you."

I sat up straight and nodded. Bad idea. My head started spinning and my stomach warbled. "Hold that thought." I grumbled, slowly standing up from my bed. "I'm gonna go throw up."

I rushed out the door straight the bathroom, jumping into the first cubicle, barely managing to close the door.

An hour had passed, and I was still in the bathroom stall, hunched over the toilet. My brain was reminding me of how many germs can be found in a public toilet but my body was so exhausted it just wanted to take a nap over the toilet seat.

"Hey, babe." Pippa called out from the other side of the door. "I brought you some comfy pjs and a bottle of water." She held a tote bag with those things inside through the unlatched door.

"Thank you." I mumbled, taking the bag in my hands.

Pippa then slipped through the door and locked it behind her. I took out the water bottle and chugged half of it, my dry mouth instantly better.

"I'm sorry I let you drink this much."

"Its my fault." I muttered. "I chose to drink."

"No, its Isaac's fault." I snapped my head to Pippa. Had I told her what happened? "You told me last night that you were pissed at him. Thats what I wanted to ask you earlier. Did something happen?"

I mulled it over. I could tell her what happened, and completely embarrass myself. Or I could lie and make her hate Isaac over something he didn't do.

Pippa crouched down before she reached out and grabbed my hand. "You can tell me."

"He... He used some stupid pick-up line, and I got offended." I stuttered out. "I'd rather die than be one of his flings."

"And that's everything that happened?" Pippa asked, her voice kind and understanding.

I nodded, looking everywhere but her eyes. "Thats all."

"Well, okay." Pippa sighed as she stood up. "I have some things to do... have a shower and rest, okay. I'll see you later."
