"Are you ready?" Isaac asked, a charming smile across his face. I nodded, wondering what could be waiting for me behind my dorm room door.

It was a month and a half since Thanksgiving. Cooper was still mad at me, but I spent all of Christmas break softening him up with many, MANY presents, one of them being tickets to a rock concert and a promise of joining him, despite how much I hated the music he listened too. He still didn't trust Isaac, but we were going to be okay.

Since returning to school, Isaac had been the perfect boyfriend. He waited for me after classes, insisted on driving me to work, he even forced me to get my licence and helped me prepare for my driving test.

Tonight, though, was something else. Tonight we had gone on our first, proper date. Dinner at Fiorelli's, a walk through the park, ice cream on the way home, and here we were, outside of my dorm.

He promised me a surprise, but I couldn't imagine how he could top anything else we'd done tonight.

Isaac twisted the knob and opened the door. Inside, fairy lights twinkled across the ceiling, illuminating the room with soft warm light. Vanilla scented candles burned on every surface and pink rose petals lead to my bed where a little brown teddy bear smiled, a red heart in its plush hands.

"Isaac..." I whispered. I turned to him as he watched me, nervously awaiting my reaction.

"Do you like it?" He asked, a hint of fear in his dark eyes.

"I love it." I smiled. I wrapped my arm around his neck and pulled him into me, bring my lips to his. I pulled away to take in the room again. It was all so magical. "Its..."

"Perfect?" He asked, hopefulness in his voice. I nodded, beaming with happiness.

"Perfect."
