The newly formed duo were seen walking on the sidewalk. Devann had an ear to ear grin on his face. The two just got done eating a healthy meal of MacDonald's. It cost more than what Devann was willing to spend, but with all the money he was going to make off Raymond it was more than worth it to keep the larger man happy.

"Look man when we get there let me do the talking." The he had said.

"Okay, but that's going to be really difficult for me. Talking is kind of the thing I do." Raymond said completely serious.

"Look, bro you're gonna have to trust me on this. These are dangerous people who kill first ask questions later." Devann explained, hoping he got his point across.

"Awww now it's going to be even harder." Raymond complained. If there was one thing the half monkey loved to do was get on the nerves of dangerous people.

"Alright dude look." Devann put a hand on Raymond's shoulder. "I get it you're nuts, you don't give a shit. That's fine I get it, I dig it even. You may have a death wish, but I don't you feel me?" The smaller man said. Raymond looked thoughtful for a second, before letting out a long sigh.

"Fine for you my new Pittsburghian friend I'll will keep my trap shut." Raymond finally acquiesced. The smaller man visibly loosened up at the taller man's words, and the two continued on their way.

The sun had since gone down and the parking garage was being filled with people. Raymond and Devann were approaching the garage when a man about the size of Raymond stopped them.

"You got a lot of nerve showing your face around here small fry." He said ignoring the golden eyed man.

"Yeah well I came prepared. This is my associate Raymond he's here to fight." The shorter man gestured to his companion. The other guy looked at Raymond as if he just appeared out of thin air.

"You're really betting everything on this guy? You know what fine go talk to Sasha get your guy signed up." The man in charge of the entrance said. "Just so you know I'm only letting you do this, because it'll be funny when he loses and you owe more money." The man said with a sneer. The duo walked inside without another word. Once inside Raymond deflated.

"You have no idea how hard that was for me. I have no idea if I've ever gone that long without talking." The half monkey said.

"You did good champ." Devann said. "The hard part is over now." He added.

The place was bumping there were bars at all sides serving alcohol. Music was playing overhead, and was packed with people making bets on the future fights. In the center was a cage for the fights to take place. A smile crossed Raymonds face. This was his kind of place.

"C'mon she's this way." Devann pointed. Raymond's golden eyes followed where Devann was pointing. Sitting on a stool at the bar was a woman. She had dark skin, but lighter than Devann's. She was wearing a leather coat, and skirt. Her hair was long, had braids, and was tied up high on her head.

"What's crackin' Sasha?" Devann asked leaning on the bar top. She quirked a single eyebrow and chuckled.

"I'm surprised they let you back in." She said still not looking at him.

"Aww you're not happy to see me baby?" He asked flashing a smile. Her mouth curved into a grimace at that.

"What do you want Devann?" She asked ignoring the previous.

"Down to business that's fine. I'm entering my associate here." Devann gestured. Turning the woman looked at Raymond for the first time. She chuckled again.

"You think he can win?" She asked.

"Oh I don't think I know." He said.

"Confident. What's your name tough guy?" She asked the half monkey.

"Raymond." He answered shortly trying to keep his promise of silence

"Got a last name?" She pressed.

"Scott." He answered.

"Raymond Scott." Pulling out a book from her coat pocket she wrote his name down. "You're in." She said. Sasha made a gesture with her hand and a man walked up. "We got a new fighter take him to the back so he can get prepared." She explained. The man nodded and the lead the two away from the crowd. Leading them down the hall he opened the door to reveal a room empty aside for some chairs and a first aid kit.

"Fights start in an hour we'll get you when it's time." He said closing the door.

"Alright man we got an hour to kill I'm going to go make some bets you entertain yourself." Devann left the room, and Raymond was alone. Taking his coat of he stretched back out before taking a seat. Leaning back on two legs, the chair was propped up on the wall. Closing his eyes a nap was in order. Half hour later he's being shook awake.

"Their starting soon." Devann threw tape at Raymond. "Take your shirt off and tape up your hands." He said. Raymond nodded and removed his shirt. As he taped up his hands.

"So what's the deal with these fights any rules I should know?" The half monkey asked working on his right hand.

"Not really. This ain't ufc you just got to beat you're opponent by any means necessary you feel me." The shorter man explained.

"When do I meet The Fox?" Raymond asked starting on his left.

"You meet him if you win. You're going to win right?" Devann asked worry now in his voice.

"Really? This was all your idea and now you doubt me?" The half monkey asked with a chuckle.

"I'm not known for thinking before I act." He said.

"Well don't worry I got this. Trust me." Raymond said mirroring what Devann said earlier. There was a knock on the door, before either could continue. The door opened revealing Sasha.

"You're up newbie." She said. Standing Raymond punched his hands together and smiled to himself.

"Go time."
