"Oh god, oh god we shot him." The larger cop said.

"Shit." The woman said. Her head was downcasted slightly. Their was obvious remorse in her eyes. No cop wanted to kill a suspect, but sometimes you have no choice.

"I've never shot anybody before." The larger man confessed.

"Yeah me neither." The woman said. "We need to call this in." She added.

Taking deep breathes the man was trying to calm himself down. His heart was still pumping and his hands were shaking. Placing a hand on his shoulder the woman said.

"Go to the car and call it in. I'll check the body." Her voice was soft and calm.

"Yeah, yeah I'm on it." The large man said, as he headed to the cop car.

The woman approached the prone body of Raymond. They needed to confirm he was dead. Although in her heart she knew he was. It would take a miracle for someone to survive all that gun fire.

Getting down on one knee she placed a hand on his neck. Her brow furrowed as soon as she touched his pulse point. Not only did he still have a pulse, but it was strong. Eyes widening she was about to call for her partner, but her voice got caught in her throat by Raymond's golden eyes.

Quicker then the lady cop could comprehend. The half monkey was on his feet. Both hands were behind the cops back. Before she realized what was happening, she heard a very distinct clicking sound.

Stepping away from the cop Raymond couldn't help the smile on his face. He was very proud of his trickery.

"Handcuffing a cop with their own cuffs. Gotta give myself a pat on the back for that one." He said in a cheeky voice. The lady cop couldn't believe her eyes.

"By the way that wasn't nice. Shooting me that is, but I forgive you you're just doing jobs. I gotta boogie though so see you around I guess." While he was talking to the lady cop he was dusting out his coat. The bullets haphazardly falling off the cloth.

"Hey!" The man cop called out. Having just finished the call to the station he see's the "dead man" standing over his partner in her own cuffs.

"Oh hey. I was just leaving." Raymond said with a wave.

"Get him Phillips!" She yelled. At hearing his partners order he charged at the golden eyed man.

"Oh boy." From there the half monkey turned in the opposite direction and ran. The police officer was in hot pursuit of the man he believed dead mere moments ago. The two were running down a narrow alleyway.

"Stop! Stop or I will shoot you!" He yelled.

"Yeah I know, you already did!" Raymond yelled back.

The officer had his gun drawn, but the alleyway head ended. The Alley had lead to a busy intersection of New York. The city was just now waking up from it's sleep as people proceeded with their day to day tasks. Taking advantage the half monkey ran right into the packed New York streets.

Phillips eyes were wide at the sight of the suspect. Raymond in his bid to get away was seen jumping from car to car; much to the dismay of the car owners.

Not wanting to just let him escape Phillips ran after him. Although no where near as graceful as the half monkey, the officer had to weave between the still cars. Eventually Phillips made it to the other side. Looking around he tried to spot Raymond. In the not so distance out in the crowd Phillips spotted Raymond's  sandy brown hair.

"Freeze!" The officer yelled. Raymond turned around at that. He couldn't help the smile on his face. He waved again and started fleeing. Once again the officer was in hot pursuit.

They were running through the throngs of people on the streets. Many people saw Raymond running ahead of time and gave both him and the cop a wide birth.

Although officer Phillips was in good physical condition he was beginning to get winded chasing after the tailed youth. Raymond ducked into another alley way and the officer continued to make chase. The officer saw a large chain link fence in front of them. Phillips was relieved at the sight. Surely the suspect would stop now, but alas that wasn't the case.

His smile ever in place Raymond ran even faster. Jumping to the side he began running along the brick wall. Phillips stopped at the sight. Once Raymond was high enough, he did a side flip over the fence. Landing lightly on his feet the half monkey looked at the cop.

"Wooo you're fast. Jeez man you really chased me far." The half monkey said with a genuine smile. The cop looked at him incredulously. This guy ran him all over, and he didn't look winded at all. Not only that he looked like he had fun.

"Is this all just a game to you?" The cop asked him. The half monkey was mulling over his words briefly.

"Yeah pretty much. Later Phillips." The tailed youth said.

"We'll find you, we'll find out why you were there and we'll throw you in jail." Phillips said voice full of determination. Raymond stopped briefly and turned his head towards the cop.

"Better men have tried Phillips." With that he rounded the corner, gone from sight.
