I think I hit a bit of writers block when I did this so I just kind of wrote... starting with basic dialogue, seeing where my brain would take it. I ended up ditching it once I had my rhythm back.
"Ay! Jameson!" James stands on Adams doorstep smiling. "Hey, Adam. Whatcha' up to?" Adam steps aside for James to come inside. "I still had a few things to unpack so I was doing that for a bit but also just playing video games." Looking around Adams new home, James can already see there's more room. He can tell the dogs are really gonna enjoy the space. As if on cue Thurnis and Chunkers run around the corner. "Oh hey puppiessss!" James immediately bends down and showers them in love and pats. "Anyway, what should we do?" He looks up at Adam, still scratching Thurnis' head. "Don't know. How does some Smash Bros. sound?" James smirks as he stands, "Oh I'm so gonna destroy you."
They turn on Adams switch and settle on the couch to play a few 1v1 fights. James was correct, in that he beats Adam in every round.
"Alright I think I'm done with this," Adam puts his controller down. "Why? Cause I always beat you?" "Precisely." James chuckles and stands up to stretch, "So, what now?"
