As I made my way around the forest and back  up the hill to our home.

 I  heard a low growl from behind us causing my body to freeze as I slowly turned my head to face another  demon, the snow was blocking the upcoming sun so it could come after us right now.

 I gripped my siblings tight but I could barely move.

I took a deep breath and put them down 

"Go, I need you guys to go and hide again. If I don't come back don't come out until the snow clears" 

I spoke as I listened to their little feet run in the snow until I was sure they were far away.

 I gripped the sword with what little strength I had left  and took a stance, looking it in the eyes while it slowly approached.

 I felt my sword slowly fall out of my grip 'I can't do this..not again' I thought as I almost fell, The demon charged at me only to be sliced in half by a sword that wasn't mine.  

I looked at the direction the sword came from and I saw a man with a headband on his head that held a bunch of diamonds  and jewels inside of it, he even had jewels all over him.

Looking over at me he smiled and waved"Hello!" HE said in which I responded with nothing, he looked worried and spoke again 

"I am Tengen Uzui! A demon slayer" He seemed to like making himself known, looking at his uniform I recognized the sign.  

"You're a hashira aren't you?" I asked and a wide smile appeared on his face "Yes! The sound pillar to be exact! I just might be the most flamboyant out of them all!" 

I heard him yell making me flinch and step back, my arms and legs were aching and begging me to give up and fall but I had questions 

'loud...And what the hell does flamboyant mean?' I thought as I looked up, not use to this.

 "Weirdo..." I mumbled but he must've heard because his smile dropped and he began to sulk 

"Why are children so cruel..." I heard him mumble as he faced a tree

"This is the third time a kid has said something so rude today" he said his back facing me and I tilted my head 

"Maybe it's because of how loud you are?'' He was pretty loud to be honest. 

I sighed and looked over to my siblings whom were slowly coming up to me, (S/N) raised an eyebrow "He's creepy.." 

I heard her mumble as she moved back into the hiding space, "CREEPY!?" The man yelled causing me to look over, (S/N) Hid behind me

 "Oh for the love of!-" before he finished he sighed and sulked again

 "Ok weirdo, If you're a pillar then I need you to answer a question" I said as I struggled to stand using my sword as support, he acted like a child to be honest, it was kind of annoying.

The man stopped sulking and turned to face me "I shouldn't answer you after you've hurt my feelings you cruel cruel child" he said doing a dramatic pose. 

I deadpanned and walked over to my siblings

 "come on you two he isn't good for any information on the demon slayer trials" I picked them up 

"WHAT!??!? FOR YOUR INFORMATION I AM THE BEST PERSON TO GET ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEMON SLAYERS FROM!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO!?" 

He screeched while (B/S/N) laughed at him. 

 I raised an eyebrow but shrugged off his outburst "Then tell me about the demon slayer trials, what do I have to do to get in one?"

 I asked holding my siblings, sighing he stood straight

"Well first of all its called final selection is a test, A test in which you have to survive seven nights in a forest with a number of demons. After that you'll be explained the system in which the demon slayer corpse is ordered, lastly you get to pick a stone for your sword. Although it seems like you already have one!" He spoke seeming louder than before 

"You're loud for a hashira" 

 I spoke looking up at him with blank eyes

 "And you're pretty cruel for a child"  He spoke as he smirked proud of his comeback

 "Pretty childish to cry over a fourteen year old's opinion"  I said making him sulk again.

 I decided to leave "Wait- Hold on a second!" I heard the loud man yell making me sigh and turn around 

"hm?" 

 I turned around to face him once again

 "Firstly Its Tengen, secondly I never got your names, and lastly you're gonna need someone to teach you a little more or you'll surely die in the trials plus you're gonna need a way for your sisters to be taken care of while you're away or they'll die too." 

He spoke his tone serious at the near end.

 I looked down at the toddler and small child in my arms,

 'Maybe I should hear him out on this,  Them dying would defeat my whole purpose of making a promise' I thought looking at them with sad eyes.

 "But have no fear! For I Tengen Uzui, Has a solution to both of your problems!"  He yelled giving me a piece of paper, it was a map! 

I looked up at him and bowed respectfully, he nodded in response.

"(L/N). (L/N) (Y/N). and these are my siblings, (S/N) and (B/S/N)'' I spoke as I took the paper and looked up to see a huge smile and a tear coming from the man's eye

 "ADORABLE! SUCH FLAMBOYANT NAMES!"  He yelled causing us all even the toddler to deadpan at his reaction. I started to walk away

 "It was- interesting..meeting you weirdo. We might meet again later Tengen, thanks for helping" 

I spoke as I waved goodbye and (S/N) spoke 

"HEY MISTER! YOU'RE NOT A CREEP ANYMORE! YOU'RE COOL!" Well she more so yelled in my ear and we heard him cheer in joy as I chuckled and kept walking. 

Making my way up the mountain would take a while but finding this address will take longer so things were needed.

Tengen Uzui, what a weirdo. He reminds me of a certain brown haired boy I use to know, just louder. I guess this saves me some time, but there's still something I need to know...why does the name Nastume Satori sound so familiar...
