Natsume Satori pt.1

The sun shined down directly into my eyes causing me to groan in annoyance, I got up and started to re-pack everything. I re-folded the blankets first,then I put the pillows on top and put everything else back into the basket. 

I then looked over at (B/S/N) and (S/N) Who had still been sleeping at the time, picking them up I I looked forward with a sigh 'This is it. I can't believe we're leaving another home...' I mumbled to myself thinking about everything that has happened over the past few years. 

With my father, the reason we moved here, the pain I went through, the pain that my family had gone through "Good riddance" I said venom layered  in my voice.

 Nothing but that filthy man laying his hands on my mother and I, threatening to kill my younger siblings if  told, even terrorizing us after we finally escaped. 

He had control over us and I hated it, He was no demon slayer and he brought disgrace to our family name, I wish I had the chance to make him suffer for all he did. 

I turned around and started walking "It's all in the past, No point in getting all upset about it now" I mumbled to myself as I started walking trying to make my way out of the forest to find clear ground.

 I heard A tiny yawn and looked down to see (S/N) had woken up and now they were looking around "(Y/N)-Nee/Nii where are we going?" I heard her ask, I looked forward my expression blank

 (A/N: As blank as giyuu's Idgaf face is) 

 "we're going to visit a friend of tengen" I said as I kept walking, it wasn't as cold anymore but I still needed to keep them bundled up.

 It seemed liked it would take forever but (B/S/N) was interested in the birds that flew past us and even caught one, I glanced over to see her trying to eat it

 "No- (B/S/N) Spit it out-" I said as I held my hand out and she spit the bird out making me sigh as it quickly flew away in a panic.

 "I'll grab you two some food when I get to the next village" I said as I looked around to see how far we were from the next exit, it was close so I started to walk a little faster seeing the sidewalk and a path with little trees. 

I eventually made it out with my siblings and we all took a sigh (A/N:Yes even the baby), I started walking again still holding them close and keeping them protected in my grip.

 While walking we met two kind hearted people who spared us some food so that we could continue and they wouldn't be hungry, I gave them seven pieces of gold from a broken necklace. 

I lucky ended up with thirty to take on the road since it was something of my fathers, he didn't deserve the rewards he got as a demon slayer anyway so I'll put it to better use.

 I continued on with our walk still carrying the two girls, I haven't eaten since we left which was two days ago specifically.

 I didn't even notice it until I felt my stomach grumble and I fell to my knees "(Y/N)-Nee/Nii!! Are you okay!?"

 I heard (S/N) ask and I sighed and opened an eye "Y-Yeah i'm fine don't worry" I said reassuringly making sure that she was okay and looking at (S/N/B) who was sleeping again.  

'Maybe I should try to grab something to eat before I fall again and worry (S/N) again or possibly drop them'

I got up and grabbed (S/N)'s hand as I slowly started walking again trying to ignore my constant stomach growling, I looked forwards and continued to remind myself about the task at hand.

 I eventually saw another village after hours of walking, I stopped by a man selling fruits. 

I paid him a jewel which he seemed to snatch with glee or greed I couldn't really tell , I was given nearly the whole thing of fruit.

 It was shocking to say the least but he was persistent so I took it, also it was the only way to get him  to stop saying he was in dept to me. 

I quickly got us all out of there and kept going munching onto an apple while I continued on,It slowly started to get dark again so I had to find shelter and quick. unfortunately we could only find a run down looking house but at least the snow was gone, I set up the beds and tucked them in "goodnight, we can continue in the morning.

 For right now we should get some rest before meeting this Natsume Satori woman." I said smiling down at them "Goodnight (Y/N)-Nee/Nii" (S/N) before slowly falling asleep.

 I sat a few feet in the front of them keeping watch once again, My mind was slightly clouded by the memory of Zenitsu I had earlier 'I still don't know if he's alive or not... what if he doesn't remember me.  I feel like I'm over thinking all of this, I only have one concern and

It's keeping my siblings safe at all cost
